7. Reasonable prices: The affordability of the pub's offerings, especially in comparison to buying and cooking a joint of beef at home, is praised.
Weaknesses: 1. Poor quality of pints: One negative comment mentions a bad pint of Staropramen, as well as other pints that were off due to unclean pipes. This raises concerns about the quality of drinks served at the pub.
2. Inconsistent service: Another comment indicates an overlong argument with the staff regarding a bad pint, suggesting that the service may not consistently meet customer expectations.
3. Inedible food: One negative comment describes the beef as inedible and criticizes the taste and quality of the roast potatoes and mushy vegetables. This raises concerns about the overall quality of the food.
4. Limited parking: The rear entrance of the pub reportedly has parking space for only about six cars, which may present a challenge for customers who wish to drive to the pub.

As evidenced by the comments, The Queens Head pub has some strengths, including a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, good selection of drinks, cleanliness, and reasonable prices. However, there are also weaknesses such as issues with the quality of pints, inconsistent service, concerns about the food's taste and quality, limited parking, and it not being a gastro pub.

Best TL Reviews

Funny place. Large space with a few large camped in families having a nice time. Large tv's everywhere. Trouble is I had a bad pint of Staropramen. The comparison from the sister pub by the train station was stark. As a group, we all had a variety of pints, and they were all off. Not undrinkable. Just unclean pipes starting to turn. After an over long chat where my pint was removed and wandered off with to some room out back the lad kept on arguing that it was ok. Like i gave a stuff what his opinion was. Eventually replaced by a drinkable but watery pint of guiness. Never going again.
A wonderful welcome in an English pub spotlessly clean with good home cooked food prepared freshly and hot! An amazing choice of Ales with a useful list. I recommend this lovely cosy pub for all and your doggies are welcome too! Best sunday lunch I've had out for quite some time.
Lovely small traditional pub on Wordsley High Street. Parking for about 6 cars at the rear entrance.
The Sunday lunch was just like your mom had cooked it. Proper fully cooked veg, good portions of everything and the Yorkshire pud was perfect. All home cooked, not from the freezer and you can tell.
The price was really good, cheaper than buying a joint of beef and cooking it at home that's for certain.
They had an open fire burning, which made it a lovely and cosy place to be.
Don't expect a gastro pub because it's not, it a really nice family run pub, friendly staff and I'll definitely go back.
Went yesterday for a quick drink. Very friendly place with lots of guest ales and ciders to try. I will try food next time
Another good pub and again the bus stops just outside the pub.
Maybe just a bad day but beef was inedible, aunt Bessie's frozen roast potatoes are what they are and the rank taste to the mushy veg! ????
Yorkshire was kind of tasty but soft and chewy!
(Not as chewy as the inedible, pale! ???? Beef? ????)
A solid 0 out of 10 but forced to give it a single star to complete the review.
£10 Sunday dinner!
Don't waste your money!
Spoons would have been better !
