Sehr Gut
This is easily the best Greek restaurant in Southampton, the staff are so nice and welcoming, it’s always a pleasure dining here. All the food items we had here tasted delicious, the service was quick and presented well. The portion sizes and the price is perfect, one suggestion would be offering a few more cocktails on the menu. Overall do give it a try, you will not be disappointed. This was our second time here and we left highly satisfied.
First and last visit.
Staff was friendly however a bit unprofessional. As we not jet finished starter the main meal arrived and during main meal no one came to ask "is all fine?". While something was not fine. The pork skewer was horrible ???? I could not understand where the issue where but the pork was expired or not properly cook so I refused to eat it. The starter was not great but fine. New potatoes were not a new at all but an old one just cut as wedges.
However, when staff came to take the plates off I mentioned that pork is unpleasant so they took it off the bill.
In overall portions are too small and overpriced.
Pretty straightforward… after a couple of hours shopping in West Quay. Didn’t book in advance, walk in. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Pleasant ambience. Quick service. Enjoyable food but maybe ???? kebabs could have been hotter and with a tad more spice/oregano….
Came to dine with my partner and had a nice time. Staff were friendly and got us a table despite turning up without reservations. I had the octopus which was grilled perfectly without it being burnt to crisp or rubbery (for the price, it was well worth it). The flat bread was soft and lovely and dipped in Tzatziki, was just refreshing. However the side of chips left much to be desired. It was served cold and just overall unpleasant (being in a chip orientated country, I'd say you guys need to step it up). Also the Greek Salad could use actual kalamata olives instead of the pitted green ones. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.
Ambience was nice. Fish was good. However saffron rice was not cooked enough and consist of hard rice gains which ruins the overall experience.
Food was incredible, so good. The only thing that let it down was the staff, seemed uninterested in making any conversation.
Always a pleasure to eat here, superb food, nice ambience, pleasant staff
