Visited for breakfast with my fiance. The venue is very nice and the food is excellent. I would have given 5 stars but the waitresses handed me the wrong menu on entry, then forgot my drink and wasn't very professional when I had to ask for the bill after the meal.
Called in for breakfast we opted for the large full English 10.50 each but we'll worth it cooked to order so fresh you could tell it was all local produce will definitely go again but will have the medium one then had a lovely walk along the canal highly recommend
The Perfect Breakfast. !!! ,. I challenge anybody to find a more perfect Breakfast ,.Great environment, pleasant and professional staff and good value for money ,. We will be returning regularly
My husband and I visited on Friday afternoon for the first time. The gentleman serving was so lovely, helpful and very attentive. He checked for our dietary needs and allergies and when the board arrived at our table he explained to us exactly what was on it. This was our first visit and most definitely won’t be our last. We ordered the picnic board with a pot of tea. I’m not sure what we enjoyed to eat most, I think my husband was in cake heaven. The quiche was amazing, absolutely delicious and so where the sandwiches, sausage rolls and ohh those cakes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. We will most definitely be back and will highly recommend this gem of a place to family and friends.
Only had tea and cake, really enjoyed it. The staff are lovely and friendly, very helpful. Had a walk round the marina with the grandchildren and was invited on a barge by the owner, what a lovely man he was. Extremely friendly. Kids loved it
I arrived today at 11 o’clock and received a warm welcome. I was given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I chose outdoors was shown to the area then allowed to choose where. I ordered the large breakfast (pictured) and a black Americano. They use Rijo42 blend which I like when it is well made..IT CERTAINLY IS HERE! I enjoyed the coffee so much I ordered a second! The breakfast was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Compliments to the young lady on table service for her friendly efficient service. The large breakfast is at the top of my price range at £10.50 meaning this will only be a treat rather than a go to place for breakfast. But a treat it is!! A beautiful breakfast in a beautiful location.
