Quick Facts About Three Fishes

1. Good quality fish and chips: Several comments mention that the fish and chips at Three Fishes are delicious and of high quality. This indicates that the restaurant excels in its main offerings.
2. Friendly staff: Multiple reviews mention the friendly and helpful nature of the staff at Three Fishes. This is a significant strength as it contributes to a positive dining experience and encourages customer loyalty.
3. Vegan options: One comment highlights that Three Fishes offers vegan-safe options, including separate vegan-safe oils for cooking and various vegan-friendly side dishes. This indicates that the restaurant caters to a diverse range of dietary preferences, attracting a wider customer base.
4. Consistency: A customer praises the restaurant for its consistency in delivering good quality food. This suggests that Three Fishes maintains a high standard and can be relied upon for a consistently positive dining experience.
5. Fast service: A review mentions that the service at Three Fishes is fast and efficient. This is a strength as it indicates that the staff are attentive and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
6. Flexibility and exceptional service: A comment highlights that the restaurant went above and beyond by staying open later than usual to accommodate a last-minute order for Finnish guests. This demonstrates the restaurant's dedication to exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent wrapping: One customer expresses dissatisfaction with the excessive use of paper wrapping, stating that they had to play "pass the parcel" to put their meal together. This suggests that the restaurant could improve its packaging procedures to ensure a more efficient and environmentally friendly experience.
2. Inconsistent quality: Although most reviews mentioned good quality food, one comment states that the fish and chips were not good during their visit. This highlights a potential weakness in the restaurant's quality control and indicates that there may be occasional inconsistencies in food preparation.
3. Friday rush: A reviewer mentions that the restaurant gets slow on Fridays due to high demand, which is expected. This weakness suggests that the restaurant may struggle with managing peak hours and may need to implement strategies to handle busy periods more effectively.
In conclusion, Three Fishes has several strengths, including delicious food, friendly staff, vegan options, consistency, fast service, and exceptional customer service. However, there are areas where improvements can be made, such as packaging efficiency, ensuring consistent food quality, and addressing the challenges posed by peak hours on Fridays. Despite these weaknesses, the overall positive reviews indicate that Three Fishes is a popular and dependable choice for fish and chips in St Anne's.

Best TL Reviews

You know that feeling of wanting fish and chips, so you go to a new chippy Three Fishes on Alexandra Rd in St Anne's, sorry to say this is the last time. The chips are like warm ups, and the fish are not good, and the peas are only warm.
Fantastic local chippy, I'd say the best in the area. My one issue and this is not food related, is that you have to play pass the parcel every time you put your meal together. Come on guys you don't need that much paper and it can all be wrapped up together.
Great fish and great chips, best in town. Gluten free fish available too.
This is a local family run chip shop with very friendly staff. We have been going here for about a year now and not once have we had an issue, the Chips are the best around we think and there VEGAN SAFE as there cooked in separate vegan safe oils which is brilliant as my Mrs is Vegan and nowhere else provides this service for Vegans at chip shops that we know of as well as a few other Vegan safe yummies Like there curry sauces, mushy peas and onion rings, even looking at the ingredients for us to make sure there Vegan safe wasn't a problem they were more than happy to help. Definitely worth a visit we highly recommend these.
Excellent traditional fish, chips and mushy peas, fast service and great value.
Only discovered this yesterday as our usual chippy was closed. Have to say everything was superb. The service was excellent and efficient, and the food was delicious, and not at all greasy.
This will be our new favourite chippy from now on.
It's good, the best chippy in St Annes for sure, consistency is very good. Slow on a Friday ( to be expected ) the staff are nice and friendly too. Contact less payments accepted, tick system in place. My advice go on a Thursday night and wait less. Enjoy.
OMG, Jimmy and the team at The Three Fishes went above and beyond for my Finnish guests this evening. They got let down by a local cab company (not the one that begins with W, the other one) and The Three Fishes stayed open to complete their order even though it was well past their closing time and not the biggest order ever. Thank you so much for being absolutely HEROIC and saving the day. To be fair, the taxi driver, once he got there, realised what was going on and he was fantastic (and The Three Fishes fed him, too!)
