Spent four hours on Saturday afternoon here playing games and eating snacks and had a wicked time. Great selection of games, loads of cereal (£5 for three small bowls lets you try a lot of what our obese cousins in America feed their little fat children). Delicious stuff. They do nice toasties too - advertised as only on weekdays but we managed to get some on Saturday. Costs £2 per person per hour to use the games, capped at £5.
Wow! Ive lived in Wavertree for years and never seen this amazing place. If you're looking for something just a little different to do with friends I can suggest it high enough. Amazingly helpful staff, clean venue and more board games and cereals than you could imagine existed. I've already arranged to go back with friends it was that good there.
Amazing place. The owners couldn’t do enough to ensure that we were happy and well catered for. Fabulous choice of games with all age groups catered for. We weren’t too sure on what to choose and again the owners were more than happy to give us advice on the games and the best ones to choose. Cereal cocktails were fab and so quirky. All in all a fantastic experience that I will definitely be wanting again soon. Would certainly recommend Tiny Ricks to everyone for a great day out and a 5 star experience.
Tiny Ricks Cafe is a fantastic place a short drive from Liverpool Centre and very close to Sefton Park. They have the largest collection of board games i have ever seen. These are available to play whilst enjoying some of the many cereals they have. The choices of cereal is amazing and they have created some great combinations that are delicious.
Highly recommended although it can get busy so definitely book in advance if you are wanting to visit.
Great place to visit. Basically you pay a small rental fee and you can stay as long as you want and play as many games as you want. If they aren't too busy they can advise and even teach you a game - don't expect that when the shop is rammed though, it's just because they are lovely.
As if that wasn't enough, they have an insane range of weird and wonderful breakfast cereal, as well as coffees, teas, milkshakes, pop tarts and soft drinks.
Would recommend for a date night, rainy weekday afternoon or just for a laugh.
I caught the end of a story on Radio 4 last year that inspired me to go
Specialist in breakfast cerals and various board games. Virtually empty
Ordered cheese on toast This looked great and tasted OK but the cheese was pretty tasteless. Good cup of tea however. Looks very much like a lifestyle operation by the operators.
Came here tonight for the first time, and it was great fun. Daughter was spoilt for choice with all the wild and wonderful cereal choices, and I enjoyed my tea and toast. Plus board games galore. Great service too.We would definitely come back. Give it a try if you fancy something different. Recommended.
My new favourite place on Smithdown! Colourful, welcoming interior. Owners are lovely. Huge range of cereals, including many vegan options. Vegan hot choc and coffee also available. Loooads of board games to choose from to suit all ages and interests.
