Quick Facts About Tynemouth & District Working Mens Social Club & Institute Ltd
Tynemouth & District Working Mens Social Club & Institute Ltd has received several positive comments, highlighting its strengths. These include being a friendly and welcoming club, with a good range of beers, friendly staff, and a steward who looks after the real ales. The club has also been recognized by CAMRA for the quality of its real ale. These comments emphasize the positive aspects of the club, such as the atmosphere, the availability of entertainment options like snooker and darts, and the quality of the beer.
One area that needs improvement, based on a negative comment, is the behavior and professionalism of some of the staff. Complaints include staff members chewing gum, playing on their phones, and complaining while on duty. The comment also suggests that they should focus on cleaning and not mock the committee. This feedback sheds light on a potential weakness of the establishment, as it indicates a lack of professionalism and commitment from some members of staff. Addressing these issues could enhance the overall experience for customers and improve the club's reputation.
Another area for improvement, mentioned in a comment, is the club's policy of not allowing dogs. While this may be a matter of personal preference for some, relaxing this policy could potentially attract more customers who would like to bring their dogs along. Considering the prevalence of dog-friendly establishments, this could be a missed opportunity for the club to cater to a wider audience and potentially increase business.
Despite these areas for improvement, the club overall receives positive feedback regarding its atmosphere, inclusivity, and affordability. Comments describe it as a great place to socialize with friends, play snooker, and enjoy reasonably priced drinks. Other positive aspects include the cleanliness of the toilets and the overall great experience that patrons have had at the club.
In summary, Tynemouth & District Working Mens Social Club & Institute Ltd has several strengths, such as its friendly and welcoming environment, range of beers, and recognition for the quality of its real ale. However, there are areas for improvement, including the behavior and professionalism of some staff members and the club's dog policy. By addressing these weaknesses, the club can further enhance its strengths and provide an even better experience for its customers.

Good little club. Friendly and welcoming. 2 snooker tables, darts and football on the tvs. Best of all, a good range of beers. friendly staff and a very good steward who looks after the couple of real ales which are on offer. This club has been recognised by CAMRA for the quality of the real ale.
Staff need sacked, 2 so far stood being the bar chewing chewgum, playing on their phones, whinging and moaning propping up the bar. If you have time to lean you have time to clean. Get some cleaning done and stop taking the mick out of the committee. Staff eating food behind the bar wouldn’t be if Environmental health came in and fined them.
Great club(nice staff).
Good secretary and some solid good socialists on the committee.
Would be handy if they would relax the policy of allowing no dogs
