Lovely off the beaten track cafe. Chi-chi interior, friendly staff and very good GF afternoon tea. Definitely recommend the prosecco upgrade ????
Great afternoon tea and were able to cater for a mixture of dietary requirements including dairy free & gluten free
I haven't stopped thinking about their Red Velvet cake.
It was lovely great food and nice lady serving us
A lovely place. Great tea menu and lovely food. My mum is very fussy (think Hyacinth Bucket for those of a certain age) she loved it. Great china peaceful background music so you can talk. The staff were attentive but not on top of you. A pleasant chinzy place to unwind and will be my place of choice next time i am in Leamington.h
Absolutely loved this place! Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, who made me up a vegetarian afternoon tea at short notice (I asked when we got there rather than calling ahead) with no fuss at all - and it was great! The afternoon tea was £14 each and delicious - everything is freshly hand made by the owners, including the amazing patisserie selection. The coffee chocolate opera cake was particularly delicious. Scones and mini quiches were also warm! I think it was fantastic value for money. The setting is classic quaint English, I wouldn’t call it “poncy” as another review has, it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Didn’t feel rushed to leave either and we were there for over 2hrs. Would definitely return to Leamington (I came from Birmingham) just to visit here again! Highly recommended.
Came here to treat my daughter to an afternoon having had previous good experience here. But the waitress was just very curt and rude to us from the very start when taking our order to when we were checking out. I have also bought some rose tea(because the middle-aged lady was so nice and we had discussed about tea) and when the waitress brought the bill and I asked where’s my rose tea, she very rudely replied, “ it’s over there!” Pointing at the till. I told her I would like to pay by card and she just rudely and raising her voice instructed me to go to the till! I said why can others pay at the table with the portable card machine, she said she’s busy!!! Oh really??!!!
She was nice and polite to every table for that 1.5 hours my daughter and I were there, except us!!!! That’s discrimination!!!
It’s a real shame!!! We really liked your place!!! But we are never coming back anymore! And will tell our friends not to!
This was a wonderful experience having not had one of these special afternoon teas. Everything was very well presented and delicious. We couldn't manage all the cakes so bought the rest home in a little box which we were given. Just make sure you go on an empty stomach it sure won't be empty when you leave
