Quick Facts About Abercromby Arms

Abercromby Arms place has received mostly positive comments about their food and service, indicating some strengths of the establishment. People have praised the friendly staff, the quality of the food, and the quick service. The fact that they made a customer's four-legged friend feel welcome suggests a pet-friendly atmosphere, which can be seen as a strength for those who want to bring their pets along.
The positive comments also mention that the food is excellent and there is nothing to dislike about the place. This implies that they have consistent quality in their dishes and have managed to satisfy their customers consistently. This is a great strength for any restaurant as it encourages customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
One customer described the food as "lovely" and the service as "excellent," and another mentioned being a loyal customer for years. These comments indicate that Abercromby Arms has built a loyal customer base, which can be attributed to the quality of their food and service. Loyal customers can provide consistent business and positive reviews, which helps to strengthen the reputation of the establishment.
Some comments specifically mention the value for money, indicating that the portions are good and the prices are reasonable. This can be seen as a strength, as it attracts customers looking for affordable dining options. The fact that a customer is looking forward to booking a table when they reopen suggests that they value the overall experience provided by Abercromby Arms.
However, there are also a few negative comments that mention weaknesses of the place. One customer describes their recent visit as the "worst meal ever," citing issues with the taste and quality of the food. They mention that the chicken dish tasted sour and the gammon was full of gristle. Additionally, they state that items were missing from the food that were listed on the menu. This indicates some inconsistency in the quality and accuracy of their dishes, which can be seen as a weakness.
Another customer complained about the quality of the lager, describing it as "rotten" and mentioning the cold temperature of the establishment. This suggests issues with the maintenance and quality control of beverages served at Abercromby Arms. Issues with the lager can impact the overall experience for customers who enjoy having a drink with their meal.
One comment describes the Sunday roast as the "worst ever," mentioning that the meat was stringy, chewy, and bland. They state that they could only manage a few mouthfuls and their complaint was left unresolved. This indicates a lack of attention to customer satisfaction and problem resolution, which can negatively impact the overall dining experience.
Despite this negative feedback, the customer acknowledges that the young girl who served them was "fab" and an asset to the place. This implies that the staff themselves are generally helpful, friendly, and an asset to the establishment. This is a strength, as good staff can enhance the overall dining experience for customers.
In conclusion, Abercromby Arms place has some strengths such as friendly staff, excellent service, and consistently good food. They have also built a loyal customer base and offer good value for money. However, there are weaknesses in terms of inconsistent food quality, beverage quality, and problem resolution. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall dining experience and customer satisfaction at Abercromby Arms.

Lovely food excellent service whats not to love we will be back
I have had meals many times here over the years , we recently visited for an evening meal I have to say it was the worse meal I have ever had.
Chicken dish tasted sour not sure if this was chicken its self or the sauce it was in , gammon was like it had been boil in the bag and full of gristle items missing from food that were on the menu.
Sadly never again.
Lager was rotten,, absolutely freezing wear lots of layers ????
Have been a loyal customer for years, recent change of landlord had me a wee bit nervous about ordering take out tonight.
Shouldn't have worried, food was absolutely amazing quality,, and the same great value for money.
Looking forward to booking a table when they reopen next week ????????????
Lovely Sunday lunch. Very quick service. We tried the steak pie and chicken and leek pie, both served in a giant yorkshire pudding.
Worst Sunday roast ever, really stringy, chewy and bland, could not manage more than a few mouthfuls. I did complain but issue was left unresolved. Both my son and I left having eaten only a few mouthfuls and for this reason I will not return. On a lighter note the young girl who served us was fab, helpful and an asset to the place.
