I made an appointment at 9:30am to have my hair braided, which is when they open. I showed up early at 9:25am to be punctual and also respectful of the appointment. After waiting 9 minutes they text saying they were running a little late. At 10am I was still there waiting in the hot sun. I ended up waiting 50 minutes before I received a message saying “okay we are here.” They didn’t even apologize.
I realized two things, this business wasn’t professional and the other was they didn’t deserve me as a customer. Obviously I left after waiting 50 minutes.
I called, she requested a picture. I sent a picture of my hair received no response. upon arriving the front was locked they opened the door and let me in then, I keep asking for what i wanted when quoted she said $75 for half head. Not too motivated to work. Prices extreme

The lady queen quoted my wife a price of $285 to braid her hair. This was after my wife sent her pictures of the length and style of braids she wanted. They agree and my wife Zelles her a deposit to reserve an appointment time.
A few days later, the same lady calls back and says the price is now $360 and claims she never agreed to $285. (My wife has screenshots of the text conversation between them). My wife declines and requests her deposit back. The lady states deposits are nonrefundable. Now under normal circumstances I could understand that but in this situation I don't feel that's right as the business owner is the one who changed the terms of the agreement by trying to jack up the price after my wife had already paid her a deposit. My wife and her proceed to go back and forth with her over the next few days. She finally agrees to refund my wife's but states she has to drive over an hour to come pick it up which makes absolutely no sense. I can understand making that drive to get her hair down but to pick up a deposit she paid by Zelle makes no sense. The lady then proceeds to tell my wife she doesn't know how to use Zelle so my wife sends her a payment request by Zelle which she then declines. We've given these ppl ample time to do the right thing and they refuse to. I don't think I've ever met a more underhanded group of ppl than queen and her business partner.
i have been going here since i was in middle school. has the best service and very efficient with their braiding. very warm and welcoming to customers and even longtime customers. i have been asked by multiple people over the years where i get my hair done and tell them to check it out and they love their outcome!
I really liked my hair. I got boxed braids but it was kind of pricey. I was visiting the Miami area and they were convenient. I tried setting an appointment and sent a photo of what I wanted as requested but I could not get a price or appointment confirmation until I just decided to pop up.
I got my hair braided by the young girl. She did an amazing job and she works fast. Yes they are a bit pricey but the quality of work is fabulous. Received many amazing compliments.
