Quick Facts About Annie's Nails

Annie's Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. It is important to note that these comments are from different individuals and may not represent a comprehensive view of the salon. Here is an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses mentioned in the comments:
Strengths: 1. Efficient service and minimal wait time: One comment mentioned that the wait time was zero, and another praised the staff for taking care of them within 5 minutes of walking in. This indicates that Annie's Nails place may prioritize efficiency and prompt service.
2. Friendly and kind staff: Multiple comments mentioned that the staff at Annie's Nails place was nice, efficient, and took the time to ensure customer satisfaction. This suggests that the employees are pleasant and provide good customer service.
3. Reasonable pricing: One customer was pleasantly surprised by the lower-than-expected cost of their services, and another mentioned receiving a coupon for future discounts. This implies that Annie's Nails place offers competitive pricing and has a loyalty program to benefit repeat customers.
Weaknesses: 1. Rushed and poor quality service: Several comments mentioned that they felt rushed during their appointments, which resulted in poor quality work. Customers expressed disappointment with uneven nails, paint on their skin, and acrylic remaining on their nails after a pay for removal. This indicates that Annie's Nails place may prioritize speed over quality, leading to unsatisfactory outcomes.
2. Lack of attention to detail: Multiple comments mentioned issues such as uneven nails, chipped polish, and paint smudges. This suggests that the staff may not pay close attention to detail, which can result in subpar results and a lack of customer satisfaction.
3. Unprofessional practices: A few comments mentioned unprofessional behavior, such as staff smoking outside and returning smelling like smoke, as well as using an old mints container for storing nail attachments. These practices can be off-putting to customers and can contribute to a negative perception of the salon.
4. Lack of cleanliness and hygiene: One comment mentioned that tools were not switched out between clients, which can lead to infections and raises concerns about the salon's practices regarding cleanliness and sterility. This highlights the importance of maintaining proper hygiene standards in a nail salon.
In conclusion, while Annie's Nails place has strengths such as efficient service, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, it also has weaknesses including rushed and poor quality service, lack of attention to detail, unprofessional practices, and potential cleanliness and hygiene issues. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction at Annie's Nails place.

I went to Annie’s to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. I was amazed with the wait time, which was 0. I had an appointment and was seated with someone as soon as I finished washing my hands. I feel like my nails were rushed. The paint job itself is ridiculous. I could’ve done that on my own. Paint AND acrylic is on my cuticles/skin. There’s a black smudge on one my nails because the artist (that does the decorating/drawing) decided it was a good idea to just wipe off the polish with her glove and start over. They were filing my nails after polishing/drying which gave them a trash look on the sides (pictured below). My nails already look a week or two old and I just got them done on Friday. I went specifically for my birthday and was charged $60 for poor quality. I’m fine with my eyebrows but they will never do my nails again. And if you think my nails look good, these photos were taken with an iPhone camera. Think again.
If I could rate them 1 star I would.. I came in on Friday to get a short set of coffin nails. Once I was in the chair I continued to tell the nail tech I wanted my nails shorter but she told me that she will not cut them any shorter at all.. being a non confrontational person I did not say anything.. of course I paid and tipped her and went on trying to get around with long nails but didn’t work so I came in today to get them cut down I was told it would be $3 over the phone (shouldn’t have to pay anything since it’s their fault). When I came in the girl cut them down and left them chipped and basically put no effort into them and painted over the chips and was told my total was $10. I am beyond furious with this business and would not recommend them to anyone!
I usually go to this place to get my nails done and it’s usually okay but I regret going this past time. My pinky was cut up and bleeding. I got paint on my hands. And I paid $50 for my nails to be uneven. They are super sweet but I think they rush the experience. I’ve had these nails on for about a week and a half and the bubble finally popped and got paint all over my fingers.
I'm not one to ever leave reviews, but my experience at Annie's warrants one! I came in for a SNS manicure and a gel pedicure. I was seated rather quickly, which i appreciated. I sat down and was handed ONE ring of nail color options to choose from, I had to ASK to see more. The work stations were deplorable and the nail tech kept her extra dremel attachments in an old Icebreakers mints container, very unprofessional and unsanitary! The staff would go outside in between clients and smoke, coming back in wreaking of smoke, again, very unprofessional! The manicure itself was not terrible, but let's fast-forward to the pedicure. A young gentleman came to start using the dremel to take off my polish, it was quite evident that he was not very knowledgeable on this procedure. He nicked the skin on the first toe with the dremel and I let it go, until he nicked the skin on a second toe, to which I asked for someone else to finish my pedicure. The employee who was working on a client next to me (who was also unprofessional, as she had an ear bud in and had her phone propped up on the table watching a show) went and got someone else to finish my pedicure. A woman came over and started working on my feet and she was not any better. She CUT the skin on my toe, to the point it wouldn't stop bleeding. As you can see in the picture, my toenails are all different lengths and there is nail polish all over the skin! I was so utterly disgusted by the time I left there, and was far from a relaxing experience! I would NEVER return to this salon!
A friend referred me here and I don’t know what she likes about this place. It was easy to make an appointment and staff was very nice over the phone. I got a simple gel manicure and the polish is dried on lumpy, like it’s thicker in some places than others. One of my fingers became infected 2 days later, which isn’t too surprising when you notice they don’t switch out tools between clients. I noticed this after they had already began working on my nails, so it was too late to speak up and walk out. It seems like they are trying to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible, but this means that cleanliness and sterility are overlooked.
I loved it here! I did not have an appointment and they still made sure I was taken care of within 5 minutes of walking in. Nails look so great. She was nice and efficient. The atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely will be coming back! (:
I called in when I woke up in the morning and scheduled an appointment for my friend and I. The woman on the phone said we would have to do the acrylics back to back, so we’d be there for a little while. I said I was fine with that. When we got there, there were two openings! We finished around the same time.
I did not catch the name of the lady who did my nails, but she was very kind and took her time to try to make sure each nail was perfect. I’ve visited many different nail salons, and this one is my favorite by far! I was charged $70 (actually thought it would be more, so that was wonderful) for this set and I am beyond happy with this. Normally, I don’t do any designs on my nails, and I will definitely visit here more often so I can!
They also give you this coupon that you can fill up, every 10 visits you get $10 off which I found neat.
Honestly very disappointed. This is not my first time going to Annie’s. Before they’ve always done a good job. But this time, it was rushed and poor quality! Eyebrows are uneven after wax. Acrylic is still on nails after paying for a take off. Definitely my last time coming unfortunately.
