When I arrived, I was greeted and immediately taken to the shampoo bowl. I told my stylist what I wanted, and although she disagreed she politely explained why and I felt she really cared about my hair. I ended up getting a wash, much needed trim, and a beautiful blowout. I left feeling like a movie star, and looked great for my birthday. I really wish I lived in Orlando permanently to go all the time however, I will be back! Give them a try!
I dyed my hair firecracker red with Alta on my birthday in March and it grew out/ faded. I wanted copper/ red-orange to match the faded style I had. Alta does a fantastic job as usual. Ask for her advice she knows how to dye and cut very well. She makes your hair color look like you were born with it. I have been going to her for 15 years and I don't let anyone else touch my hair. My friend got a blow out from her this same day and was also happy with her results.
So I have been coming to this salon for a few years now with no problems until March 2022. I had been dealing with somethings and my hair kinda got away from me. It dry and tangled and just need love. So I went to shop and per usual they took care of me... So I thought... In the middle of the night I received a group chat message with a picture of the back of my head telling people that they will not service anyone with there hair looking like my hair.. I found this disrespectful and hurtful and I am very disappointed and I will not be returning
The first photo is the day at the salon and the 2nd photo is the next day. ELSI did an amazing job. She also cut the hair of my girls and did wonderful. Please go see her! This was my first time coming to this salon (was recommended to me by my best friend) and first time getting a Dominican blowout in general, so I was nervous..but I honestly have to say it’s been the most top tier experience!!! Alta was my stylist and she was so kind and welcoming, on top of being extremely skilled and knowledgeable and passionate about hair!! I 100% recommended coming here, they have gained a permanent/returning customer! If I could give a million stars I would honestly, my hair looks and feels amazing!!! Will update with photos ???????????? Thank you Alta!!! You’re the best!!!!
For the most part I do my own hair, since I am a former licensed cosmetologist. I have been knowing Alta for 16+ years so I will occasionally pop in to get my hair done and check on my old friend. I love catching up and she is such a pleasant person that I enjoy my time at the salon.
They just ripped me off. I literally got a wash and blow dry I was charged $70. The lady burned me the whole time and weighed my hair with oil and polishing spray. I told the lady that my hair is naturally greasy now my hair is extra oily. I will never come here again. Ask for pricing before they touch your hair and do a subpar job because $70. For a wash and set. Yeah I’m never coming here again. I’ll drive to my normal place for now.
I’ve been coming to this salon for years and things have changed!!!! It’s horrible! They barely have any hair products the English is terrible I went for a doobie wrap. The lady put rollers in my hair w/0 a drop of setting lotion my hair looks horrible! Then she had the nerve to have an attitude!!! I’m never coming back! This place has to be under new management or something it’s not even decorated nicely anymore!!! Now I’m leaving with smelly flat iron burnt hair and the UGLIEST DOOBIE IVE SWEN IN MY LIFE!!!!
