Quick Facts About Art Barber Shop
Art Barber Shop has received a variety of comments highlighting both strengths and weaknesses. These comments provide insight into the quality of their haircuts, customer service, pricing, and the overall atmosphere of the shop.
One of the strengths mentioned by multiple customers is the affordability of the haircuts. One person mentioned that they typically pay $50+ for a similar cut at a Korean stylist, while Art Barber Shop offers the same cut for only $23. This significant price difference may be appealing to those looking to save money without compromising on the quality of their haircut.
Another strength highlighted by customers is the use of scissors instead of just hair clippers. This indicates that the barbers at Art Barber Shop have the skills and techniques to provide more precise and detailed haircuts. Additionally, the use of a razor to trim the edges is seen as a positive attribute, as it helps to create a clean and neat finish.
The spacious and clean environment of the shop is also mentioned as a strength. Customers appreciate a well-maintained and hygienic space when getting their hair cut. The fact that they tape the mask and lift the elastic to avoid fully removing it during the haircut is also seen as a considerate and convenient practice in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The positive comments also emphasize the professionalism and friendliness of the barbers at Art Barber Shop. Customers mention that they are professional, nice, and can communicate well in English, even though their first language is Korean. This indicates that language barriers are not an issue at this barber shop, creating a comfortable and inclusive environment for customers.
However, some weaknesses are also highlighted by customers. One recurring issue is the barbers' lack of attention to detail and incorrect execution of requested haircuts. For example, in one comment, a customer requested a 2 on the sides and eyebrow length on top, but ended up with a different cut entirely, along with a noticeable bald spot. This suggests that some barbers at Art Barber Shop may not have the necessary skills or attention to detail to provide accurate and desired haircuts, which can result in customer dissatisfaction.
Another negative aspect mentioned by a customer is the issue of tipping. In one instance, a customer appreciated the quality of the haircut and wanted to leave a good tip, but later discovered that the barber had tipped himself even more than what was intended. This raises concerns about the transparency and integrity of the shop's tipping practices.
It is also worth noting that there is a discrepancy among the comments regarding wait times. While some customers mentioned wait times as short as 25 minutes, others did not mention any wait time at all. This inconsistency could be a weakness if the shop does not effectively manage customer flow and wait times.
To summarize, Art Barber Shop has a number of strengths, including affordable prices, skilled barbers who use scissors and a razor for precise cuts, a spacious and clean environment, and professional and friendly service. However, there are weaknesses to consider, such as inconsistency in attention to detail, potential issues with tipping practices, and variability in wait times. These factors should be taken into account when making a decision about whether to visit Art Barber Shop.

Had a undercut at least 7 inches long. Requested a 2 on side and eyebrow length top with picture shown of how I want it. Ended up with a buzz cut with a razor bald spot. He kept working on it for almost an hour and kept picking at that spot, that’s how I know he messed up. I won’t mind if he fesses up like a man but instead doesn’t own up. Ended up paying him 50% tip not knowing until I get home. They are a local Asian owned shop I tried to support for years but this isn’t the first time, they just don’t know what they are doing.
Was skeptical at first as I'm used to booking weeks out at a younger Korean stylist for like $50+., but this place does the same cut for more than half the price! $23 + tip (no joke). Save your money and give it a try.
I got a haircut by the owner. I wanted to leave a good tip for my $23 dollar haircut ($6) because it was worth it to me. The haircut was good. But $6 doesn’t sound like $10 which is what he tipped himself. I don’t mind tipping well, especially to an elder, but giving yourself a ~40% tip is not right in my opinion.
The best men's barber shop in town.
I used to take my son to hair salon which costs more and cuts just a tad bit with hair clipper.
This place uses scissors!
Like many others mentioned, this place is very spacious and clean.
Once you are seated, they tape the mask and lift the elastic so you don't have to fully take it off.
They use scissors most of the time which is a huge plus and they also use razor to trim the edge nice and neat. When finished, they vacuum the nape of your neck and side.
Seriously, hands down the best.
Their first language is Korean but there is no problem communicating with them in English.

I wasn't satisfied this time. 2 out of 5 stars.
Asked to trim front hair and showed him where I wanted it to be but he ended up cutting it so much more.
if you need the best fade or a clean relaxed barber shop go hear the barbers are so professional and nice
Amazing haircut for $20.
I highly recommend their services. Got a fade on the sides and chopped a little off the top. Just as good as my go to barber back home. They also vacuum remove any loose. No itch!
No appointment needed when I went in. Went on a Wednesday later in the day.
Men’s barbershop. The only place my 3 year old son will sit still for haircut. I think it’s because he feels like a “big boy”.
I've been around and this place is the best hands down. You might have a little difficulty if you're non-korean but haircut is top notch. They old school barbers. I've been here 3 times and average wait has been 25 min and haircut is about 20 min.
