Quick Facts About Cafe Biba

Strengths:
1. Casual and comfortable setting: The café provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for customers to enjoy their food and hot drinks. It is described as a "casual little spot" where locals can unwind and have a quiet chat.
2. Good selection of tray bakes and menus: Café Biba offers a variety of homemade treats, including tray bakes, and has a diverse menu with a range of food options. This allows customers to choose from a wide selection and find something they like.
3. Reasonably priced: The café is praised for its affordable prices, making it accessible to a wider range of customers. This is seen as a positive aspect, as customers feel they are getting value for their money.
4. Friendly and efficient staff: The staff at Café Biba are commended for their friendliness and efficiency. Despite being busy, they manage to provide quick service and are described as helpful and lovely.
5. Quick service: Despite the bustling atmosphere of the café, customers mention that they received their drinks quickly. This is appreciated by customers and demonstrates the café's ability to handle a busy environment.
6. Dogs are allowed and offered drinks: The café's pet-friendly policy is seen as a strength, with customers noting that their dogs were offered drinks, even though they were only there for takeaway. This gesture is seen as considerate and adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent quality of food: Some customers express disappointment with the food quality. One comment mentions a scone being on the dry side, while another comment mentions that the Philly cheese steak Panini had more cheese than substance. This inconsistency in food quality may deter some customers from returning.
2. Limited traditional options: One comment expresses disappointment with the scones being served with whipped cream instead of clotted cream and packaged jam instead of homemade jam. This lack of traditional options may not align with customer expectations and preferences.
3. Inaccurate menu descriptions: Some customers mention that the menu descriptions did not match the actual dish they received. For example, one comment states that the pancakes advertised as "great American pancake stacks" were smaller than expected and lacked bacon and syrup. This inconsistency in menu descriptions and actual dishes may lead to customer dissatisfaction.
4. Below-average milkshakes: A customer mentions that the milkshakes were below average and advises others not to waste money on them. This suggests that the café may need to improve the quality of their milkshakes to meet customer expectations.
5. Inconsistent service: While many customers mention the friendly and helpful staff, one comment highlights that some staff members were rude. Inconsistent service can impact the overall customer experience and may discourage some customers from returning.
6. Removal of vegetarian sausage option: A customer expresses disappointment with the removal of vegetarian sausages from the menu. This change in menu offerings may disappoint vegetarian customers and lead to a loss of business.
In conclusion, Café Biba has several strengths, including its casual and comfortable setting, good selection of tray bakes and menus, reasonable prices, friendly and efficient staff, quick service, and pet-friendly policy. However, there are weaknesses that include inconsistent food quality, limited traditional options, inaccurate menu descriptions, below-average milkshakes, inconsistent service, and the removal of vegetarian sausage options. Addressing these weaknesses can help improve the overall customer experience at Café Biba.

Best TL Reviews

Casual little spot for food and hot drinks. We got takeaway coffee, tea, and a spectacular chocolate royale. They had a good selection of tray bakes and more menus with other food, very reasonably priced. They offered the dog a drink even though we were just there for takeaway, which was nice. There seemed to be lots of spots to sit for a quiet chat. The staff were very friendly and, as so many businesses are these days, very busy and bustling to keep up. We got our drinks very quickly anyway, which we really appreciated. Expect a casual, comfortable setting with homemade treats and locals enjoying the relaxed space.
Cafè in centro a Stirling.
I had the Philly cheese steak Panini, the menu mentioned mushrooms of which there was none and there was definitely a lot more cheese than there was actual substance but overall it was nice. My friend had pancakes, not pictured, which the cafe had advertised as being known for their great American pancake stacks.. however there was minimal bacon, minimal syrup, and the pancakes were on the smaller scale as to what was expected.
We ordered milkshakes, not pictured, which the cafe had advertised itself as being known for however these were probably below average at best so please don't waste your money on them.
All in all an average eatery. But don't be expecting greatness
Friendly efficient staff, good range of food on the menu which include a variety of pancake dishes. All day breakfast was really good and very filling. Prices are reasonable. The cafe is kept clean and tables cleared very quickly which is a bonus. If anything I would say a bit more lighting is required at the back of the cafe seating area, apart from that it is well worth a visit.
Had an egg roll, 2 latte's and a currant scone. Egg was just the way I like it, latte's were good, but the scone was a bit on the dry side. Can't complain as I think I might have been undercharged. Staff friendly.
Me and my grandfather have been visiting this wonderful establishment for 20 years now and the staff are lovely and helpful. My favourite is the tuna melt with wedges. The food is always delicious and the service is top notch ????
Lovely place, fair prices. Offers a wide menu
Very disappointed. Ordered the vegetarian breakfast as had this before. Didn't realise that they no longer give vegetarian sausages. All I got was an egg, 2 hash browns, 2 tattie scones and some beans. All it was was the meat version minus the meat. Not worth the price. Some staff are lovely others very rude. Used to love going here but not sure if I will be returning.
