Cafe Mocha D, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses. Let's analyze them in detail:
Strengths:

3. Polite and friendly staff: Multiple reviewers have mentioned the politeness and friendliness of the cafe's staff. This positive customer service can enhance the overall experience and encourage customers to return.
4. Clean spot: The cleanliness of the cafe is also praised in one of the comments. A clean environment is crucial for maintaining hygiene standards and providing customers with a pleasant dining experience.
5. Reasonable prices: The affordability of the cafe's offerings is mentioned in one of the comments. Offering reasonable prices can attract a larger customer base, especially in comparison to more expensive competitors.
6. Locally popular: The cafe seems to have a loyal local customer base, as indicated in one of the comments. This can be a positive sign, as it suggests that the cafe has managed to build a strong reputation within the local community.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent service: One customer had a negative experience due to receiving the wrong order, followed by an argument with the staff. In another instance, a customer experienced a delay in receiving their food and had to ask for a refund. Inconsistent service can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among customers, potentially resulting in them not returning to the cafe.

3. Lack of menu options: One customer expressed disappointment in the lack of simple iced drinks available. Limited menu options can limit customers' preferences and reduce their chances of finding something they enjoy.
4. Owner's attitude: Negative experiences involving the owner are mentioned in the comments. Poor customer handling, arguments, and a lack of compensation can leave a negative impression on customers and discourage them from returning.
In summary, Cafe Mocha D has strengths such as a friendly atmosphere, good coffee, polite staff, cleanliness, reasonable prices, and local popularity. However, it also has weaknesses including inconsistent service, mediocre food, limited menu options, and potentially poor customer handling by the owner. These weaknesses could impact customer satisfaction and loyalty. Overall, it is crucial for the cafe to address these weaknesses and improve their service in order to provide a better experience for their customers.

The woman serving me and my father stared at us as we ordered instead of writing it down or putting it in the till, got my order wrong and then proceeded to argue with me over what I ordered. For a cafe they don't even do simple iced drinks, food was mediocre and service was terrible. Complete waste of our money.
Lovely place for coffee and a light bite. Very friendly and warm atmosphere, highly recommend.
Excellent coffee, friendly, polite staff, very clean spot, reasonable prices, easy to park close to the cafe ????
Had a terrible experience here a few months ago involving coronation chicken (or the lack of) in a jacket potato. When my business partner asked in a friendly manner if he could get some chicken as there was (honestly) only 2 small pieces, the owner argued with him and said it comes in a container and they have no control over how much chicken is in a portion. At which point due to the owners attitude my business partner said don’t worry, we just won’t be coming back. He didn’t offer any compensation, only reasons why it might of happened and ultimately just passed the blame.
Buddy, not sure you’ve noticed but you’re part of what’s called the hospitality business. The saying “the customer is always right“ would have simply gone in one ear and out the other.
Oh and one of your staff members actually apologised for your behaviour publicly when they saw me at Costa.... Not ideal.
3 months pass...
Being the friendly, nice and “support your local business” kinda guy, I decided to give them a second chance when my girlfriend had arranged to meet friends there.
Apprehensive but willing I order 2 cappuccino’s and pay. These came in good time, so if quick coffee is what you’re after then great...
No more than 5 minutes later I order a mozzarella, basil and tomato panini and a bacon/egg ciabatta.
The bacon egg ciabatta was delivered to us after about 5-7 mins but we were still waiting for the basil/mozzarella panini a good 20mins later... Everyone else in our group who had ordered after us had there food and was happily chomping away.
When I asked the server about my missing panini she did apologise but still nothing surfaced. 5 mins later I asked again and they said it was coming...
10 mins later from when I originally asked I gave up and asked for a refund. The manager used the “we’re busy” excuse and reluctantly gave me a refund after much converse. By this point all of my friends had long finished and we we’re all sitting there surrounded by empty/dirty plates and empty cups, which were still there when we left.
I left very hangry. No panini and caffeine fuelled.
My gripe here is not the food (although in my opinion and others I know, they use way tooooo much bland cheese) it is solely based on the lack of service and customer understanding.
The manager gave me a begrudged refund but did not offer me anything in compensation and did not even offer the panini in goodwill!!
If you’re thinking Mocha D - MOCHA DON’T.
I own a small business and was ashamed of how we were handled as customers.
Rant over. Enjoy your Costa - they know what they are doing and how to treat people.
I've just visited this wonderful cafe. I only wanted a milkshake which was good. However having sat here for the last 15 mins watching the world go by I can see how much passion and love the employee/owner have for this place. Almost every customer that's walked in the door after me has been greeted by name and order known. It's very easy these days to find a reason to complain but I have none and I'll be visiting again next time I'm around the area.
A wonderful privately owned coffee shop offering a fantastic selection of hot and cold foods, sandwiches and cakes. The owners are lovely and the staff are very helpful. A lot of locals come here, it's very popular
