Quick Facts About Capote Y Toros
Capote Y Toros, a Spanish restaurant located in the heart of South Kensington, has received overwhelmingly positive reviews for its delicious food, great ambiance, and excellent service. However, there are some comments that mention the restaurant's high prices. In this analysis, we will explore the strengths and weaknesses of Capote Y Toros based on the comments provided.
One of the biggest strengths of Capote Y Toros, as mentioned by several reviewers, is the delicious food. Customers describe it as the best tapas they have ever had, with standout dishes such as tacos with potatoes, chicken croquettes, and Spanish tortilla. The menu also offers a wide range of options, including vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and meat dishes, providing something for everyone. Additionally, the restaurant is praised for its authentic Spanish cuisine, creating a true taste of Spain in London.
The ambiance of Capote Y Toros is another strength that is frequently highlighted. The live guitarist roaming through the three groups of restaurants adds to the overall atmosphere, providing a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Reviewers appreciate the cozy and traditional Spanish atmosphere, creating an immersive environment that transports them to Spain. This attention to detail in creating the ambiance is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to providing an authentic experience for its customers.
Many reviewers also mention the fantastic service they received at Capote Y Toros. The staff is described as amazing, attentive, and friendly, catering to the needs of the customers and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This level of service enhances the overall dining experience and contributes to the positive reputation of the restaurant.
However, one weakness that is mentioned by multiple reviewers is the high prices at Capote Y Toros. Several comments mention that the restaurant is a little pricey, but overall worth the experience. With an average cost of £35 per person, it could be considered quite expensive, especially for those on a budget. This could potentially deter some customers who are looking for a more affordable dining option.
Additionally, the small size of the restaurant is mentioned as a weakness. As it is difficult to find tables due to the limited seating capacity, reservations are necessary to secure a table. This could be inconvenient for some customers who prefer a more spontaneous dining experience or are unable to secure a reservation on short notice.
In conclusion, Capote Y Toros offers delicious Spanish cuisine in a cozy and traditional atmosphere, creating an authentic experience for its customers. The live guitarist adds to the ambiance, while the excellent service ensures a pleasant dining experience. However, the high prices and the necessity of reservations due to the small size of the restaurant may be considered weaknesses. Overall, Capote Y Toros is highly recommended for those looking for a delicious and authentic Spanish dining experience, but it may not be the ideal choice for those on a tight budget or seeking a more spontaneous dining experience.

Delicious Spanish restaurant nested in the heart of South Kensington. Great ambiance with live guitarist roaming through the 3 group of restaurants and amazing staff/service.
A little pricey but worth the experience.
Soooo delicious!! Best tapas we’ve ever had. Definitely pricey, but so worth is. My favorites were the tacos with potato on it, the chicken croquettes, and the Spanish tortilla. Will definitely go back if in the area again!
Totalmente recomendado! Sentirás que estas en España.
Lovely little group of Spanish restaurants in Kensington. Nice little twist on patates bravas and the steak is lovely.
Fantastic authentic Spanish restaurant, superb service and great wine selection in a lovely atmosphere
It's one the best Spanish tapas in London, live music, excellent food, it couldn't be any better.
Lovely tapas restaurant not too far from Gloucester Road. Great selection available, including a large variety of seafood, and a somewhat unusual take on Patatas Bravas.
Good atmosphere, with a guitarist playing lightly in the background the whole time, and good service.
Unfortunately not cheap at around £40pp Inc service but no drinks, although not excessive for the area.
Amazing selection of tapas categorized by vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and meat. Also, gorgeous looking larger meat plates, in a cozy, traditional Spanish atmosphere. I recommend the crunchy fish tacos, ox burger, crispy nigiri, roasted carrot, and patatas bravas
