Quick Facts About Church Inn

The Church Inn place has a number of strengths that make it an attractive option for visitors. Firstly, the pub is described as cosy, with an open fire, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers. This can be especially appealing during the colder months, providing a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a drink. Additionally, the pub offers a good range of beers, suggesting they cater to a variety of tastes and preferences.
The availability of outside seating, both covered and uncovered, is another strength of the Church Inn place. This is particularly advantageous during the summer months when customers may prefer to enjoy their drinks and meals outdoors. The option of covered seating ensures that even if the weather is not ideal, customers can still make use of the outdoor space. Furthermore, the pub is described as dog-friendly, which can be a major draw for dog owners who prefer not to leave their pets behind when visiting establishments.
One comment commends the staff at the Church Inn for their exceptional service during an 80th birthday party. This indicates that the staff are attentive, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure customers have a positive experience. Another comment praises the cleanliness of the pub and states an intention to return, suggesting that the pub is well-maintained and that customers can expect a clean and hygienic environment.
The food at the Church Inn is generally well-regarded, with one customer describing it as "good" and "value for money." This suggests that the pub offers tasty and reasonably priced meals, making it an appealing option for those looking to dine out. Additionally, a customer who visited on a Sunday reports a positive experience with a three-course meal for a very affordable price, highlighting the value for money offered by the pub.
Despite these positive aspects, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer notes that the pub can be relatively quiet, which may not appeal to those looking for a more lively atmosphere. However, this comment still gives the pub a rating of four stars, indicating that this may not be a major drawback for all customers.
Another weakness mentioned is the initial lack of food service due to kitchen refurbishment. This temporary inconvenience may have disappointed customers who were looking forward to dining at the pub, especially during a busy holiday period. Additionally, it is mentioned that the pub appears a little dated and could benefit from some maintenance and updating. This could potentially affect the overall impression of the venue.
Lastly, one comment states that the outdoor area of the pub is disappointing, with cracks in the patio and falling-apart fencing. This suggests a lack of attention and care towards maintaining the outdoor space, which may impact the overall experience for customers who prefer outdoor seating.
In conclusion, the Church Inn place has several strengths, including a cosy atmosphere, a good range of beers, dog-friendly policies, and positive customer service experiences. Additionally, the pub offers tasty food at reasonable prices. However, there are some weaknesses to consider, such as the occasional quiet atmosphere, the temporary lack of food service during kitchen refurbishment, the slightly dated appearance of the pub, and the need for maintenance in the outdoor area. By addressing these weaknesses, the Church Inn place can further enhance its attractiveness to customers.

Cosy pub with open fire. Good range of beers. Lots of outside seating, covered and uncovered. Dog friendly so plan it into your route
Good beer and pleasant surroundings, I think maybe very nice in the summer.
Bit quiet hence the 4*
Had my mums 80th party yesterday at the Church Inn. Can't speak highly enough, the staff were superb throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble at all, the buffet was top notch. Thanks guys, very much appreciated
Wasn't serving food when we visited, kitchen being refurbed bank holiday May'22. Why would you do that after 2yrs of quiet and need the businesses but hey! Little dated in and out, could do with a little 'love'. Outside is disappointing lots of cracks in the patio and fencing falling apart, quick drink and left felt like didn't want to stay.
Have fond memories of visiting this place for orange and lemonade which i did as a kid. Went in last night with my dad and my boyfriend for a drink on a walk out. Really cute area and a nice interior. Has a pool table in an anteroom which I havent played on. Does good beers and food.
I lovely this pub, friendly, clean, and will definitely go back
Food is good and value for money.
Outside needs a little bit of love and attention like it was a few years ago.
Overall an ok/ nice experience.
Would we return? Yes :) first post gave church in 3 stars.
Second time visited food was spot on. Staff lovely. Seems new owners have settled in nicely ???? worthy of 5 stars. Went on a Sunday 3 courses....
See pics. All for £12.50!!! And was lovely. Felt like I was robbing them!
Will be back in the near future.
When the suns out, Everyman and his dog is out here. A great outdoor space for Adults, children and dogs to enjoy some tasty food and a decent drink.
Definitely worth a trip down to top up your tan and let the kids run wild in a secure park.
