I went for a dip manicure and spa pedicure. Never. Again. The tech was very heavy with the drill! He cut me on three fingers! I really should’ve gotten up, but needed my nails done for a holiday party. Bad decision. It was not worth it. My poor thumb is so sore. The manager took $5 off my bill because I was bleeding when I left! Again, not worth it!
Went in yesterday for a gel fill in which is $30 & a regular pedicure which is $31 or so i thought.. when i went to pay the tech said my total was $88.. now $31 plus $30 shouldnt equal that right? i didnt get any designs or any bells or whistles just a pink gel color on my hands.. thats it. i will be finding another nail salon. what a shame since id been coming here for a year.
Kevin is fantastic! This was a brand new acrylic set. He does such a great job. He is so talented.... show him a picture and he recreates it. Good, fair prices. Highly recommend this place. Clean, local, and they are very nice. Uncle slays the pedicures! Plenty of parking. Walk-ins welcomed.
I called to ask if they had time just to remove my acrylic nails I had done at a different salon. Cindy said to come in any time, it would cost me $20. I thought it was a little expensive (about half the cost of a manicure) but I was close by and desperate to get my nails off. It took one hour to remove my nails. I got nicked on my ring finger, resulting in a noticeable scab. She then cut my cuticle as well as made a big indent on my nail on my thumb. To which she did not apologize, just told me not to soak it in the acetone but I needed to soak my ring finger, said my cut wasn't bad. When I told her it hurt to put in, she pushed it down further. To end it, I was charged $22. I will never be coming back to this salon. If you need a good salon, go to Bliss Nails off Long Lake & Telegraph. I should've just driven the extra few miles...
Despite that the wait was super long, I am very impressed with the service and my nails. This was probably the best pedicure I've had in a very long time and even though they were busy, they still took time with my pedicure! I love that they were able to give me the shape I wanted for my nails as well. I just moved to Southfield and I'm happy I've found a nail salon!
Kevin & his staff are kind & swift! 2nd time coming since the end of April this yr. & once again I'm pleased!
The nail tech could not be bothered to remove all of the polish from my nails. I asked three times… The black color from my previous manicure now show through the light pink color for the new manicure. Very careless, sloppy work. I will not be returning.
Insanely unsanitary. Please run far away unless you want a nail infection. Reporting to LARA & OSHA
