Ignore old reviews they are from years ago. I’ve been coming to this place since I was 15 I’m in my 30’s. I stopped because customer service wasn’t the same until today I came in today and met a new nail tech.
I was introduced to Kathy. She has 30 plus years as a cosmetologist so
She isn’t a limited nail tech ( no shady to the other ladies get your money honeys). As a black women I felt comfortable with the whole service, good conversation and she was fast and her work made me instantly feel beautiful and I got a basic gel full set and pedicure. The nails look so natural and they are balanced I know that they will last. ASK for KATHY she knows what she is doing and her customer service is A1.
I got a pedicure by CHI and she is great. Super sweet and funny had me laughing the whole time. Even convinced me to do a spa pedicure I am a basic girl lol. It felt so good to get pampered. It lifted my spirits.
These two ladies have changed the culture of the spa so ask for them by name and thanks me later queens. Kathy for nails and permanent make up and Chi for the pedicures.
First visit and it was a great experience. Tammy took amazing care of me for a pedi ???????? she took her time made my feet and legs feel awesome. She also did my nails which are natural,included full removal of old gel and polish and reshaped and did get polish. The nails look perfect ???? definitely will be going back. Prices are very good and quality great clean shop.
I followed my nail tech, Anna, from her old salon in Bowie, MD to this location and I like the vibe. Anna is always great with designs. I tell her what I want and she executes the design. She has good customer service manners and keeps me entertained with her conversation. The salon is also very bright and has a relaxing environment. I’m not disappointed I followed her here. Look at how cute my nails are!
A very honest and recent experience, I would say that their work is amazing. Grace music, relaxing vibe, new management and new nail system. Im usually come to see Ken (Van) for my nail occasions. He is very concentrate on his work and it came out perfect. Highly recommend him.
The atmosphere at Fantasy Nail and Spa is always relaxing and they are always nice. It was my first time having my nails/pedicure done by KEN and let me just say Im very impressed. I like to keep it simple when it comes to my nails/toes, but he showed me his work on Instagram and I was impressed!!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and it turned out better than I expected. My nails look AMAZING!! I liked the fact that he took his time and made sure that I was happy with the way my nails and pedicure came out. He just gained himself a repeat customer because I will be returning. Ken is Highly recommended!!!! No complaints here.
100% recommend coming here to get your nails done. Anna is the new owner and she is amazing! I trust her to get my nails done perfectly to my liking each and every time.

I am completely appalled by the lack of professionalism at this place. Also I must mention the place is dirty and I should’ve walked out the moment I got there. I went in for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. As the nail tech started doing my pedicure I again said I wanted a regular pedicure. The lady misunderstood and thought I wanted a gel pedicure when I told her AGAIN it was regular she became extremely rude. I bit my tongue because I really wanted to get my nails done and dint want to argue so I say in the chair waiting for her to finish. She did such a poor job with the pedicure she rushed through it barely filing down or even cutting cuticles. Being hesitant about leaving I showed her a white color I wanted in regular polish for my toes and she went to get a color that was pink. When I told her I didn’t want that color she said that’s all they had, she kept trying to tell me what color I should get amd insisted they only had the color I wanted in gel. I said I would go up and look myself to find the color. As soon as I got up she THREW the color she picked into the foot spa and ordered me to go find the color pointinf me in the direction of the polish wall. It was awful. That’s when I had it. I took of my manicure gel remover foils from my nails and said i was leaving. I told her being rude was completely unnecessary and that it wasn’t my fault she misunderstood me despite telling her 3 times I wanted a regular pedicure. She had the audacity to yell back saying that I should go pick the color so she can finish.
Absolutely not!! even though another nail tech came to diffuse the situation saying someone else could do the job I refused. I left. I didn’t care that my manicure gel was half taken off or that my toes were going to be without polish. I refuse to pay my money at a place like that. As a first time costumer I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but it’s completely unacceptable. We’re paying for a service not a favor and regardless of the misunderstanding it no excuse to treat someone poorly or talk down to anyone. The lady claimed her name was “Maria” which I know is a complete lie but I am going to return and see if I can find a manager because given the poor reviews this place needs they need to train their techs on how to treat others with respect!
