Quick Facts About First Lady Nails
First Lady Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses according to the comments provided.
Strengths:
1. Good service: The salon has received compliments for providing good service to customers. One reviewer mentioned that they always take care of them, while another praised the flawless nail work done an hour before closing time. This suggests that the salon has skilled nail technicians who can deliver satisfactory results.
2. Proximity: The salon is conveniently located close to one customer's house. This is a potential advantage for those who prefer a nearby salon for ease of access and convenience.
3. Affordable: The pricing at First Lady Nails place seems reasonable, with one customer mentioning that they paid $64 for a full set with gel, which they found to be a good value. This affordability may attract budget-conscious customers.
4. Good nail technicians: Despite the negative experiences, there are comments praising the work of specific nail technicians. Kym, in particular, received positive feedback for their skills. This indicates that the salon has talented individuals who can provide a satisfying experience for customers.
Weaknesses:
1. Rude and dismissive service: Multiple comments point out that the salon staff can be rude, dismissive, and unfriendly. Customers mentioned feeling unwelcomed and ignored upon entering the salon. This reflects negatively on the overall customer experience and can deter potential customers from returning.
2. Inconsistency in customer service: One customer mentioned that the salon staff said one thing over the phone but acted in a completely different manner when the customer arrived. This inconsistency can lead to confusion and disappointment, further contributing to a negative customer experience.
3. Lack of organization: There were complaints about the salon's lack of organization, particularly in terms of scheduling appointments. Customers reported long wait times, especially because appointments were only available on Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, a reviewer suggested that daily appointments could help with social distancing, indicating a possible lack of attention to current safety measures.
4. Poor communication and knowledge: Several reviews mentioned poor communication and lack of knowledge from the salon staff. One customer complained that a staff member did not understand their request for a specific color, while another mentioned that the staff did not acknowledge a mistake made during the service. This lack of attention to detail and failure to meet customer preferences can contribute to a negative experience.
5. Quality and durability of services: Multiple customers mentioned issues with the durability and quality of the nail services received. Complaints included chipped gel polish within a short period, rushed application resulting in imperfect results, and the use of acetone to stretch nail polish, making it thinner. These issues suggest that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of services provided by the salon.
In conclusion, while First Lady Nails place has received positive feedback regarding skilled nail technicians, good service, proximity, and affordability, the salon suffers from weaknesses such as rude and dismissive service, inconsistency in customer service, lack of organization, poor communication and knowledge, as well as concerns regarding the quality and durability of services. These weaknesses should be addressed by the salon to improve the overall customer experience and maintain a positive reputation.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The man who sits at the door picks and chooses who he wants to greets! Always rude! Only came here for one nail tech and that was Kym! Now he’s gone! When I asked he just yelled, he’s gone! Rude! Then They say one thing over the phone and it’s completely different when you get there! Waited over a hour and still wasn’t satisfied with my service! IF U CAN GO SPEND YOUR HARD EARN MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Great Service, They weren't that friendly though. They didn't really talk to you like I was use to at other salons.
They do a good job and are close to my house. They are also rude and dismissive. They open late ALL THE TIME so I’ve learned to never go at opening. They barely look up at you when you enter. I wish there were more options close to me.
I love them, they always take care of me????
BEST Nail Place ???? I showed up an hour before they closed as a walk-in, and the lady did absolutely amazing. I got ombré nails and she did it all by hand FLAWLESSLY! I am so impressed. And it was only $64 for it all with gel. Service is very nice, clean, and welcoming. This might just be my permanent nail spot. Thank you so much!
I went to this salon in Feb 28th,2020 and it already looks like I have had them for 2 weeks! For $46 on color change gel polish my nails my nails look a mess and when I made the tech aware that she messed up on my thumb she just continued to polish over it because they were trying to leave! I WILL NEVER GO HEAR AGAIN AND I HONESTLY DON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!
It was over an hour wait due to how many were n there. The gentlemen who did my pedi and manicure was good. They need more organization though. I think they need to do appointments everyday instead of just Friday's and Saturday's cause a person should not have to wait that long and it would help on social distancing. This was my 1st time there. My sister in law lives near there and she needed to get her nails done so we found that spot. We probably will not go back unless its on an appointment day.
So first it smelled like sewage the entire time i got my nails done my gel polish started chipping two days later. I asked the lady if they had a royal blue color and she didn’t even know what i was talking about and just pointed to the nail polish on the wall. Customer service is terrible only time they talk to you is when they tell you $10 extra for this or $10 extra for that oh and when it’s time to pay. I’ve been going here for years and my recent experiences make me not wanna come here again. I’m reading these reviews and have experienced majority of the same things a lot of other people have. They also stretch there nail polish with acetone to make it last longer which just makes the nail polish thinner and thinner. Currently looking for a new nail salon.
