Quick Facts About Flowers Cafe

Flowers Cafe has received a mix of positive and negative comments, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, it is important to consider all feedback.
One recurring complaint about Flowers Cafe is the high prices. Multiple customers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the cost of the food and beverages. They mention that the prices for breakfast have recently increased, with an additional charge for tomatoes. This has deterred some customers from returning, as they feel the prices are unjustifiably high. This weakness indicates that the cafe may not offer good value for money, potentially leading to a loss of customers in the long run.
In addition to high prices, there have been remarks regarding the quality of the food and ingredients. One customer claims that the ingredients used are very cheap, despite the exorbitant prices. This suggests a lack of consistency and attention to detail in the selection of ingredients. The mention of a hair in a customer's tea, along with previous reviews mentioning similar incidents, further emphasizes the issue of hygiene. The presence of hair and unclean teapots can greatly impact the overall dining experience and severely damage the cafe's reputation. These weaknesses indicate a lack of quality control and attention to cleanliness, making it difficult for customers to have confidence in the establishment.
On the positive side, the staff at Flowers Cafe have been praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. This is a significant strength, as good customer service can greatly enhance the overall experience for customers. Friendly and attentive staff are more likely to create a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits. The positive comments regarding the staff indicate that they are professional and attentive to the needs of customers, which can be a differentiating factor for the cafe.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the quality of the coffee. One customer mentioned that they enjoyed their coffee, while another mentions that their family loved the hot sandwiches. This positive feedback suggests that Flowers Cafe may excel in certain specific areas, such as the quality of their coffee and sandwiches. Focusing on these strengths could help the cafe carve out a niche and attract customers who value these particular offerings.
It is also worth noting that one customer had a positive experience with a custom cake order. They were able to specify their requirements, and the cake was ready on time and delicious. This demonstrates that Flowers Cafe is capable of meeting customer requests and delivering high-quality products when given clear instructions. This strength indicates that the cafe has the potential to provide a positive experience for customers with specific dietary needs or special occasions.
In conclusion, Flowers Cafe has both strengths and weaknesses. While the staff are friendly and helpful, and the coffee and custom cake orders are praised, the high prices, cheap ingredients, lack of cleanliness, and incidents of finding hair in drinks indicate significant weaknesses. Addressing these weaknesses, such as reevaluating pricing strategies, improving the quality of ingredients, implementing better hygiene practices, and ensuring that customer orders are accurately prepared, will be key in order for Flowers Cafe to retain and attract customers.

Prices too high breakfast gone up 45p and charge extra for Tomatoes. Tomatoes should be all inclusive. I know of one person who has stopped going for Breakfast there because of that, it will only be a matter of time before others stop going as well.
Very expensive and the quality of the food /ingredients are very cheap! £16 for a large breakfast and a small one with a drink.... Loud staff talking about their personal life etc.... Go down the road to Rose's if you want a decent feed for a lot less, definitely won't be back....
The staff here were great. Very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my coffee too, and my family love the hot sandwiches.
I ordered a chocolate cake for a lockdown birthday. I was able to ask for specific toppings etc, it was ready for the exact date i asked for and was delicious!
Never really had anything from this place as I knew it was a bit pricey for what it is, but decided to see if they could offer any dairy free milk. Asked if they did any, which came with the response of 'soya', so I opted for a small soya hot chocolate, with Mum and Nannie getting coffee and tea. After paying, I wondered why it seemed more expensive than expected, and not only is a SMALL cup of hot chocolate £2.40, but they bang on a charge of +40p to have soya milk (which was written in tiny writing on the board ????). So basically it was £2.40 for a scoop of hot chocolate powder. When it came, it was definitely a small small small cup, but I had my doubts as to whether or not it was soya or dairy milk in there, but obviously unlike when someone serves you meat instead of soya-meat, there's no way of really knowing with milk.
To make matters worse, I was wondering why my cup of hot milk had absolutely no chocolate taste to it, and discovered at the bottom of the cup a pile of brown sludge. My £2.40 scoop of hot chocolate powder. Was there an extra charge to have the powder mixed in with the milk???
What's more, my Nannie found a hair in her tea before she even had chance to take a swig, and the hair had a follicle on the end. Tasty. I wonder if we were charged extra for the hair or if it was complimentary?? I've seen some other reviews talking about finding hairs and even one person saying they found pube-looking hairs. How that can happen I don't even know.
Unless expensive piles of brown sludge and hairs are your thing, I wouldn't recommend this place.
customer service was really good we went with babies and do every week we was always in way no complaints
Prices are far too high! Would never recommend to come here. £22 for a small breakfast and a large and 2 drinks!
Gone downhill , dirty trays , dirty teapots , massive hair on the top of my latte.... put off
