a week. Convenient for those with busy schedules.
From the comments above, it is evident that Genesis Barbershop has both strengths and weaknesses. Let's start with the strengths identified in the comments:
1. Skillful and talented barbers: Many customers praised the barbers at Genesis Barbershop for their excellent skills and ability to deliver high-quality haircuts. Mr. Joel Trinidad was specifically mentioned as the go-to barber, with one customer expressing complete satisfaction with his line-ups, fades, and overall styling abilities.
2. Good vibes and great cuts: Several customers mentioned the positive atmosphere and good vibes at Genesis Barbershop. This indicates that the shop has a welcoming and friendly environment, which adds to the overall experience. The customers also appreciated the quality of the haircuts, highlighting the barbers' ability to deliver satisfactory results.
3. Availability and convenience: Genesis Barbershop is open seven days a week. This provides convenience to customers with busy schedules, as they have the opportunity to visit the shop even on weekends.
4. Clean line-ups: The barbers at Genesis Barbershop were commended for their ability to deliver clean line-ups. This indicates attention to detail and precision in their work.
Now let's turn our attention to the weaknesses that were mentioned in the comments:
1. Rude customer service: One customer highlighted a negative experience with the customer service at Genesis Barbershop. They mentioned being greeted rudely with a tone rather than the expected welcoming and helpful approach. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer-centricity.
2. Poor communication: Another customer complained about poor communication from the barber who failed to listen to their specific requests and did their "own thing" instead. This can lead to dissatisfaction and frustration on the part of the customer, as they may not receive the desired haircut.
3. Expensive pricing: The cost of haircuts at Genesis Barbershop was a recurring complaint mentioned by multiple customers. One customer specifically mentioned that they found $40 for a haircut to be too expensive. This suggests that the shop may not cater to customers on a budget, potentially limiting their customer base.
4. Inconsistent pricing: One customer mentioned that it seemed like everyone at the shop makes up their own price. This inconsistency in pricing can lead to confusion and customer dissatisfaction.
5. Decline in service quality: A customer mentioned their disappointment with a haircut where the lineup was uneven, the mustache was not properly shaped, and the hairline was pushed back too far. This indicates a decline in service quality, as the customer expected a top-notch haircut from an experienced barber.
In conclusion, while Genesis Barbershop has strengths such as skillful barbers, good vibes, clean line-ups, and convenient opening hours, there are also weaknesses in terms of rude customer service, poor communication, expensive pricing, inconsistent pricing, and a decline in service quality. It is important for the barbershop to address these weaknesses and focus on improving their customer service, communication, and pricing strategies to enhance the overall experience for their customers.

Best spot in town. We have been around looking.
Mr. Joel Trinidad is the man! He cuts me up real good and every time I look in the mirror I be examining myself for awhile cuz he’s cold with them line-ups, fades, you name it. Always putting a smile on my face when I see myself. Thank you bro, you’re the best. Definitely set up an appointment with this man, he only brings in bomb haircuts and no room for mishaps or anything shady, he keeps it real ????!!
First thing when I walked in I was asked with a rude “tone” do you have an appointment? Instead of having to say can I help you or welcome in. The guy who gave me a haircut today did not listen to anything I said. He did his own thing. In addition, they are very expensive. I honestly think $40 for a haircut is way too much. Lack of customer service, poor communication to their customer and way too expensive. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
Today was our first time trying Genesis Hair Shop and it was Ridiculously Expensive, took my 3 boys under the age of 10 in to get a simple hair cut before school start next week, and was charge $40 per kid… Total of $120… first and last… don’t recommend this shop if you’re on a budget.
So I went there about 2 weeks ago and got my haircut by the owner so he says, Figured I get a top notch haircut but was I wrong. Showed him a picture, he glanced at it for a second and he did his own thing. The fade actually came out good but the lineup Whack. My mustache was uneven, hairline pushed back too far, Rounded lineup by my ears uneven, and I was just disappointed. And these prices, it's like everyone in there makes up their own price, and who charges $40 for a kid's haircut. It used to be $25 for a cut and lineup beard before covid. And worst of all, when you walk in the 1st thing they say is "do you have an appointment" with a tone, No "Hey what can we help you with" or nothing, customer service is lacking
Good vibes, great cuts, and clean line-ups. Always my go to Barber in town.
