Quick Facts About Glamour Nails
Glamour Nails place has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. starting with the strengths, one positive aspect of Glamour Nails place is that they are open on Sundays. This is convenient for individuals who have busy schedules during the week and can only find time to visit a nail salon on the weekends. Additionally, they have a wide variety of colors to choose from, providing customers with a lot of options and ensuring they can find a color they like. Furthermore, the facility itself is described as great-looking, with all glass front windows and doors, allowing customers to enjoy the rain while getting their nails done.
However, there are also several weaknesses highlighted in the comments. One common issue mentioned is the rushed and subpar service. Many customers felt that the technicians were multitasking and trying to attend to multiple clients at once, leading to a lack of attention to detail and a rushed application process. This resulted in various problems such as crooked nails, incorrectly applied colors, and nails that did not cover the entire surface. Additionally, there were instances where the technicians answered phone calls during the service, which further interrupted the process and took away from the overall experience.
Another weakness mentioned is the pricing. Some customers felt that the acrylic nails were steeply overpriced, particularly when additional features and services were added to the base price. This led to dissatisfaction when the quality and level of care received did not match the price paid. Furthermore, there were comments about the acrylic nails being of poor quality, with many imperfections such as dips and bubbles and a generally shoddy appearance. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and a lack of expertise from the technicians in the area of acrylic nail application.
Hygiene and cleanliness concerns were also raised by some customers. One individual mentioned that their husband contracted athlete's foot after visiting Glamour Nails place, indicating a potential lapse in sanitation practices. Another comment stated that the technician brushed nail dust and debris into a customer's designer handbag, which is not only unprofessional but also unsanitary.
Additionally, customer service was mentioned as an area of weakness. There were instances of rudeness and impatience from the technicians, with one customer sharing an experience of being yelled at by a male technician. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a service-oriented business and can greatly impact the overall experience for customers.
In conclusion, Glamour Nails place has some strengths such as being open on Sundays, having a wide variety of colors to choose from, and having a great-looking facility. However, there are several weaknesses including rushed and subpar service, steep pricing for acrylic nails, poor quality and attention to detail, hygiene concerns, and issues with customer service. These weaknesses undermine the overall customer experience and should be addressed by the salon in order to improve their reputation and customer satisfaction.

My sister and I went here last Sunday because they were the closest nail salon around us that was open. We called in ahead of time and asked if we needed appts, or if walk in would be okay. They said we could just walk in. We get there and there is a sign on door that says “Sundays: Cash Only!” Okay.. so we run back to the speedway down the road and pull out $80. They took her to the pedicure chairs as soon as she picked out her color. Then I picked out my color and sat down. The male tech started gluing the nails on my fingers. I couldn’t tell at the time but a few were crooked, and about 1/2 were the wrong size (didn’t cover my entire nail). This was my first experience getting acrylic nails so I didn’t know the whole process. But the Male tech and female tech switched, and she filed the nails and used 2 tools on my nails (assuming to buff? Like I said, 1st time lol) then she painted the nails, well first she answered a phone call. There were only two techs and there were 2 other clients besides my sister and I. (4 total) anyways so the techs were switching back and forth on everyone’s manis/pedis, answering calls, and cashing people out. My nails were done very fast, and I can’t stop noticing the empty open spots where u can see my original nail. She put a couple layers of gel polish on my nails and then dried them. The color looked beautiful, no complaints there. And they were one of the few salons to be open on a Sunday, the only day of the weekend that my sis was off work. The lady who did my nails did suggest I get gel instead of polish because it would last longer and dry quicker. I did that for an extra $10- felt bad I had to have my sister run out to my car in the rain. She got my couple dollars in quarters to add to a tip because I was still in process of getting nails done (her pedi was done quick) and they didn’t take cards on that day. Altogether there were a few little things that I didn’t like- the open spots on my nails, and the gel not covering the whole nail. My sister said she had same problem with polish not covering her toenails on the sides. But overall was a good experience. I adore the color I chose. There were lots of colors to choose from which was a plus! The rain was nice to watch thru the all glass front windows + doors of the building.
My husband & I went here as a last resort on a Monday. It was the worst experience we ever had.
We walked in & they sat us fast. They were nice and friendly. Only issues we have is that the paint job was AWFUL. There was NO customers other than us & they rushed through our pedicures. They made my husband walk barefoot over to the manicures station.
Long story short, they messed up the paint job & my husband got ATHLETES FOOT FROM THIS PLACE! Worst experience ever . On top of that they charged us $135! Completely outrageous!
It's a great looking facility and they do pretty good pedicures. However, for my experience, the acrylics were steeply overpriced (not the base price but ANY feature you want costs extra and its too much for the quality and amount of care received). The first time I went there I was just getting a full set of acrylics. They had 2 other clients getting acrylics and they only have 2 technicians that do acrylics. So they were really trying to rush through the processes and they seemed flustered. And instead of dealing with one client at a time, the 2 technicians kept cycling back and forth between us 3 clients. So one of them went and got the color I requested while the other was prepping my nails. He also got the color for the client sitting beside me at the same time. Then the man tech did the application of tips, and trimming. Then the lady tech did the rest. But right before she started painting I asked if that was the right color and sure enough the guy had switched our colors. Then the whole time she was working on my nails she was rushing and giving no attention to the smoothness of the surface of the nails and she barely did the shaping that I paid so much extra for. She barely filed the edges of my nails to create a straight line. For the quality of ACRYLICS that I received, it was grossly overpriced. However I returned once more with a friend of mine who really wanted to try a pedicure here. We just got regular polish pedicures which include sitting in a delightful massage chair, and receiving a foot and calf massage from a tech. This experience was priced more fairly and I had a much better experience with the ladies that do the pedicures. They didn't rush and they paid attention to detail. The quality of my reg polish pedicure was actually better than the much more expensive acrylic set! So i wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for acrylics but if you're doing anything non-acrylic and foot related I would recommend coming here.
This place was terrible. The quality was terrible. They were trying to rush and the nails turned out horrible. They were crooked and bubbly. He didn’t even know how to do a simple flower. They were also over priced.
my wife and I had pedicures here. I am not used to a pedicure while my wife gets them often. We both enjoyed the work done. I felt like I was "floating" as I walked out after the treatment, very comfortable and clean. Equipment is in good working order. we appreciate the quality of service we received and will definitely return. Guys, if you haven't had a pedicure try this place, for real. When my wife said I should try a pedicure, I thought, "Guys don't do stuff like that" but my mind is changed now!! thx!!
The owners were extremely nice but my nails look terrible. Honestly ive never had my nails done that badly. So many dips in the acrylic and a honestly shity color coating & very sharp. Dont waste your money like I did!!!.
Went in on a holiday weekend so it was busy. I waited for about an hour and a half after I was told ot would be about 30 minutes. I requested pink and white solar. I only needed a fill but apparently they cant do hombre. Ok. So I sat for another hour having the awesome set I had soaked off. This lady was SO FAST. It was BY FAR the WORST set of solar nails I've ever had. There were white spots on just about every nail. I asked for pink and white and got clear, but whatever. Not that important. But I paid $60 for quality I probably could've done myself. I also left with almost every cuticle bleeding. I actually should've refused to pay but I'm not that kind of person. I will NEVER go back to this place. Very unprofessional and seriously poor quality.
On another note: I was watching her do another ladies nails. When she was done filing them she brushed all the dust and nail bits right into this womans designer handbag.
And yet another Note: The pics are a week out from when they were done. (I've been busy.) If you look at the tips you can see the white above the tips. That's what it looked like before I even walked out.
Really bad place to go to get you nails done. Last time I went there a guy started yelling at me for no reason. I told him more than 2 times what I wanna get down on my nails and he keep telling me what do you want me to do with your nails, In a really rude tone. I'm paying for a service not for rudeness
