The bar hadn't changed alot, a quick drink, the barman was helpful.

Amazing new landlords taking over. Making a huge difference already. The well has been jetwashed. The sails out the front make a nice new touch. Some amazing bands on a Friday. Quiz night good fun on a Thursday. And there beer feats are amazing. First one this weekend.
Great pub, aimed at a younger crowd than most of the others in Higham. Good range of beers, wines & spirits, fantastic beer garden and lovely warming fire in the winter. The place has real character.
No breakfast included in the price. Not enough milk for more than one tea or coffee. Heating came on late so very cold early morning Sunday. Radiator behind behead. Bathroom unheated and lighting not good enough to put make up on. I won't book again sorry to say. Having said all that the bed and bedding was comfy and clean. The unlocking of three doors to get to my room was tricky at the fire door so not for anyone worse for wear from downstairs!
Great little pub, good service and nice cider! It was very busy when I was there but it was beer fest! Was great for the family As well, could do with some play equipment for the kids !
A lovely warm welcome Boozer . I visited this pub after the wild n wooley was made to feel very welcome
