Quick Facts About Groom Barbershop
Groom Barbershop, based on the comments provided, has a mix of strengths and weaknesses. On the positive side, the barbershop has a great atmosphere and is highly recommended by some customers. One customer mentioned that their two boys came out very happy with their haircuts, indicating that the barbers are capable of delivering satisfactory results. The comment about the friendly staff and the diverse mix of barbers from different backgrounds also suggests that Groom Barbershop values inclusivity and creating a welcoming environment. Additionally, another customer mentioned that the barbershop now offers a unique and pampering experience with the MVP haircut, which includes a facial and massage, along with TVs for sports enthusiasts.
Despite these positive aspects, there are several weaknesses addressed in the comments. The most severe complaint is from a customer who claimed that their son's hair was "destroyed" by a barber and that the owner allowed them to leave without rectifying the issue. This indicates a lack of quality control and customer service. Another customer complained about the fluctuating prices, which suggests inconsistency in pricing and transparency. Furthermore, a potential customer felt unwelcome and mistreated due to the lack of clear communication regarding appointment-only Fridays. This incident highlights a case of poor customer service, with the staff appearing rude and unhelpful to a first-time visitor.
One comment brings up religious aspects, where a customer expressed dissatisfaction with the barbershop's religious beliefs and claimed their hairline was intentionally pushed back. This indicates potential discrimination and unprofessional behavior from a specific barber. It is important to note that this comment may not reflect the views or actions of the entire establishment, as barbershops typically have multiple barbers with varying perspectives and experiences.
In terms of scheduling, the comments suggest that Groom Barbershop has a limitation in terms of availability. While it is mentioned that appointments are recommended during weekdays, weekends are said to be better for walk-ins. However, it is not clearly communicated how long the wait time might be for walk-ins, which may inconvenience customers who have time constraints. The barbershop's lack of a streamlined scheduling system and clear communication regarding availability may be a weakness.
Overall, Groom Barbershop has strengths in terms of atmosphere and customer satisfaction, but weaknesses in areas such as quality control, customer service, and communication. By addressing these weaknesses and focusing on providing consistent quality service, transparent pricing, and improved communication, Groom Barbershop can enhance its overall customer experience and attract and retain a loyal client base.

I'm so upset I can't even tell you. My husband took our son to get his haircut, and this is what the barber did to his hair. The owner saw the "work" and let my husband and son leave his salon with the hair destroyed like that
Shame on you, Groom Barbershop
Worst barber shop ever changes prices whenever they feel like terrible experience
Great place and atmosphere!
I took my two boys and they both came out very happy with their haircuts.
I was recommended by a friend to come check out this shop. He said that the people were amazing and Christian. Unfortunately that wasn’t my experience. I walked into the shop today at like 3:15pm. My foster son and I sat down and were asked what we needed. I said my son needs a haircut. The guys looked like I was bothering them. They talked amongst themselves and then said it’s Friday we only take appointments. You need to come back tomorrow and sign in and then they could help me. How in the world would I know that Fridays are for appointments ONLY! I felt like the guy I spoke to was rude and I will definitely not be coming back tomorrow. Please tighten up your customer service skills, especially for 1st time clients.
I take my foster son to "Preacher". Everyone in there is friendly. You have a Hispanic side and then a Caribbean side (lol). I get the best of both worlds. I love the unity there.
Place sold to another owner and is completely different, it's a sports theme barbershop now and let me tell you, it is simply amazing. They have this MVP haircut that comes with a facial and massage. My husband and son felt so pampered and it was only like 5 or 6 bucks more per person. Really great. Guys, you will never miss a game.. TV's everywhere.
Went there disagree with there way of religion and my front line was pushed back to the point I had to wear a hat until it grew back. I will never go back there, I found a new barber shop great place and if you disagree with there ideas they do not cut your hair wrong. I guess thats what this one barber meant about being a good Christian, disagree with me and I will ruin your hair.
Best barbers around for adults or kids! No question!
Go see Jersey or Moses! You Won't be disappointed!
Monday thru Fridays you pretty much need an appointment, so it's best to call ahead or you could possibly be waiting for awhile.
Saturdays are the best day for Walk-Ins. First come, first served so get there early and sign in. If you don't have errands to run, you can sign in and communicate with the barber for when you should come back.
Great conversations to be had: be it sports, movies, politics, life or religion.
