Quick Facts About Happy Nails

Happy Nails place has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. Let's analyze each aspect in detail.
One of the main strengths mentioned by customers is the friendly and helpful staff. Several people commented on the great customer service and how accommodating the staff was, even when there were last-minute appointment changes. This indicates that the salon has a strong emphasis on providing a positive and welcoming experience for customers. It is also mentioned that the techs were nice and pleasant to talk to.
Another strength highlighted is the longevity of the nail polish. One customer mentioned that their nails lasted through a two-week poolside/beach vacation without chipping. This suggests that the salon uses high-quality products and provides a good application technique, leading to durable results.
Some customers also mentioned the expertise and professionalism of specific nail technicians. They named certain individuals who consistently delivered excellent service and made their nails look fabulous. This indicates that the salon has skilled technicians who have built a loyal customer base over the years.
A weakness that several customers mentioned is the poor quality of service provided by a specific nail technician. Complaints include not smiling or giving customers a chance to explain their needs, ignoring complaints about cold water, not properly cleaning under nails, leaving skin around the toes, and not filing or applying a top coat. In some instances, customers expressed pain and discomfort due to the technician cutting too deep into the nailbed and causing bleeding. This suggests that there might be inconsistencies in the skills and training of the staff, leading to subpar service in some cases.
Another weakness mentioned is the cleanliness of the salon. One customer noted that it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, which raises concerns about hygiene standards. Additionally, a comment was made about the use of cheap nail polish, indicating that the salon may not prioritize using high-quality products.
In terms of pricing, one customer expressed disappointment with the price after the service. They stated that their nails were lumpy, thick, and uneven, and they were not satisfied with the result considering the cost. This suggests that there might be inconsistencies in pricing or that the service provided did not meet the customer's expectations for the price paid.
Overall, Happy Nails place has strengths in terms of friendly and accommodating staff, long-lasting nail polish, and skilled technicians who consistently provide excellent service. However, there are weaknesses related to poor service quality from certain technicians, cleanliness concerns, and potential inconsistencies in pricing. These areas of improvement should be addressed to ensure a more consistent and satisfactory experience for customers.

Best TL Reviews

I am very upset with the service. I have been here before, the lady does not smile at all and does not give you a chance to explain what you need. She worked on my feet and the water was cold and I told her and she just ignored it. She did not clean under my nails and left skin around around the toes. The nail polish is alll at the edges on the skin. She did not file anything and no top coat. Then she just ripped off the old dip off my nails and it really hurt. Definitely not coming back here.
Really looked forward to going here after hearing rave reviews from my aunts/family and best friend... unfortunately, this review does not support these recommenders.
I went here for the first time yesterday and despite an initially great start on my polish removal (dip nails from another salon), the woman decided on doing a full manicure (even though I just asked for nail polish removal and change) and completely ripped up my cuticles. When I flinched, it turned out she had dug so deep into my nailbed and I started to bleed - but she didn't stop nor did she apologize.
I remained quiet and asked her to decrease her intensity - instead, she went to the other hand and almost "matched" the deep cut she gave me on my left hand with that on my right hand! My poor hands are still tingling from pain.
Upon putting on the coats of dip sand/polish/color, she didn't ask what shape I wanted in my nail... s didn't even shape the nails before putting on the polish - in fact, she ended up doing the shaping at the end of the manicure, which totally makes the polish look unfinished and a lighter color than the rest of the nails, now! When she finally did finish the 3 dip polis layers, she was staring at my hands without saying a word - but she was holding what I thought was a top coat... then she called over the manager.
I don't know if it was because she noticed the blood on both my hands still flowing from the nail beds or the rawness of my fingers at that point, but he ended up coming over to my table - where the original nail artist just left without a word to me - and he ended up putting on the "top coat" of dip polish (which, by the way, was in a contained labeled BASE and not top/finishing coat)...
I will be honest, the manager's was non-stop talking to me, as well as offered and gave a hand and wrist massage with lotion/oils. I do NOT plan on returning here - I was impressed initially because they knew their clientele by name and never made anyone wait more than 5 minutes to sit down... but my nailbeds are bruised, my fingers hurt, and I really wish I had an apology. I'm so sad that my friends/family recommendation on nail salon turned out to be a bust.
Very dirty, they didn’t clean in a long time! Not kind at all and they use cheap nail polish. Do not go there!
It was my first time there and everyone was so so friendly and helpful. They do such great nail designs too! Catherine and her staff were so accommodating when we had last minute appointment changes too. My daughter loved her fist set of nails and couldn't wait to show her friends! We will definitely be back.
Fantastic service! My nails lasted through a 2 week poolside/beach vacation with no chipping whatsoever!
The techs were all very nice and chatting with them was very pleasant.
The service was really nice besides they rushed my nails. I came in for a fill because my usual place was closed- my nails are lumpy feeling, super thick, and the shape is uneven and just not straight. I also asked for longer nails and she drilled them down. I really liked the lady I worked with she was super nice I’m just upset about how my nails were done and then the price after the service was disappointing.
I am from out of town and stopped in to get a mani pedi. It was a very relaxing experience. Would definitely go back!
I LOVE Happy Nails! I have been going to this nail salon for 10 years!
Danny and Maggie (owners) are wonderful people. They accommodate you, always listen, are very professional and treat you like family.
Kathy (who does my pedicures) is sweet, happy and good at what she does.
Sky who does my no-chip (with diamonds!) is a pro. He always makes my nails fabulous!
I will not go anywhere else.
They also have a second location, Nail Fairy, in Westmont.
