Quick Facts About Idol Nails & Spa
Idol Nails & Spa has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. By analyzing these comments, we can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the place.
Starting with the strengths, several customers praised the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They mentioned that the staff members were accommodating, social, and knowledgeable about their services. This indicates that Idol Nails & Spa has a customer-oriented approach and strives to provide a welcoming environment for their clients.
Additionally, many customers were pleased with the quality of their nails and pedicures. They expressed satisfaction with the results and mentioned that they received compliments on their nails. This suggests that Idol Nails & Spa has skilled and talented nail technicians who can deliver aesthetically pleasing results.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the availability of various manicure options. They appreciated having a range of choices, including regular polish, gel, dip, and UV nails. Catering to different preferences and needs shows that Idol Nails & Spa values diversity and aims to provide options for their customers.
However, there are also several weaknesses pointed out by customers. One recurring criticism is the high pricing at Idol Nails & Spa. Many customers felt that they were overcharged for the services they received, with some mentioning that they paid significantly more compared to past experiences at other salons. This indicates that Idol Nails & Spa may need to reevaluate their pricing strategy to ensure they are competitive in the market.
Another weakness mentioned by customers is the lack of durability of their services. Several customers reported that their nails started chipping or coming off within a few days of getting them done. This suggests that Idol Nails & Spa may have issues with the longevity and quality of their nail treatments. Customers who pay a premium price for their services would expect them to last longer and have better durability.
Some customers also mentioned issues with customer wait times and tardiness of appointments. They reported waiting for a significant amount of time before being seated at their stations, even when the salon did not appear to be overly busy. This can be frustrating for customers and may indicate a lack of efficient time management or scheduling.
In one particular comment, the customer highlighted a poor experience with the "new thing" offered by Idol Nails & Spa. They mentioned that the service was not as described, the nails looked cheap, and they started coming off quickly. This suggests that Idol Nails & Spa may need to improve their communication with customers and ensure that the quality of their services matches the claims made.
In conclusion, Idol Nails & Spa has strengths in terms of friendly staff, talented nail technicians, and a variety of manicure options. However, there are weaknesses in terms of high pricing, lack of durability, wait times, and inconsistencies in service quality. By addressing these weaknesses, Idol Nails & Spa can enhance the overall customer experience and improve their reputation in the industry.

Very disappointed in service and quality. I visited for the first time last Wednesday 12/28 to get dip nails with tip, was overcharged $12 from what was quoted over the phone the day before. Paid $55, the MOST I ever paid for the same service that I received in Chesterfield in the past. Only a week later and 5 nails are already chipped, which has never happened to me in all the years I’ve been getting dipped nails. I normally get a good 3-4 weeks of beautiful nails from the other salons and only pay $40, definitely not worth it!
Make An Appointment!!!! This place has great massage. They offer a variety of levels of pampering. Make sure you ask how much everything costs. They have regular polish, gel, dip and the new uv nails.
My sister, niece, and I had an appointment at 5pm. They didn't appear overly busy and seemed pretty well staffed, considering. I will admit, I was 8 minutes late, but my sister and niece were on time. We waited almost 20 minutes to be seated at our stations. I was going to get a gel French manicure for my wedding the following day.
The lady asked if I wanted to try their "new thing". No description of what it was exactly other than she said it's better for your nails than gel. $70. Okay, I'll try it. I keep my nails very short because I do a lot of work with my hands. And I'm not a huge fan of what the gel does to my nails, but I do like how long they last.
I've never had false nails but I figured I'd try once I saw my nail artist start pulling them out. She asked me if I wanted my cuticles cleaned up for an additional $7 or $8. Why is that not included in the price for their "new thing"? My sister had gel done and my niece just had her nails painted, as she is only 6. My sister's gel manicure included cuticle clean up and filing length.
I told my manicurist how long I wanted my nails and she still made them way too long. Also, you can see the bubbles from the glue under the nail. She told me they were supposed to look more natural. They just looked cheap, fake, and poorly done in my opinion. I had them done on Friday. Today is Wednesday and the polish is already coming off. My cuticles look extremely rough like they did before the cuticle cleanup was done. And now, the fake nails she glued on are starting to lift off of almost every nail. This is supposed to be better than gel?!? I haven't been using my hands to work with since the nails were done, as I've been on vacation. The gel manicures I've had done in the past elsewhere lasted about 2 weeks before they started coming off. And that's with normal use. With the tip (which i think was $15), I spent $94. 100% NOT worth it. Do NOT try the "new thing" - it's a scam! I will not be going back to Idol Nails ever again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else!
Took my daughter here, to get her nails done for Graduation. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, that’s why I gave it two stars. However, the service that was provided did not last more then 5 days. My daughter did dip and tips. She had them on for only 5 days and they all started falling off. It hasn’t even been a full week now and she has two nails remaining. Highly disappointed with the amount of money I paid for them. She has had her nails done many of times and they all have lasted at least 2-3 week. For $65 before tip I would of expected them to last much longer. Will not return!
Love my nails! Ive been to idol 3 times now and it's not a fluke! Every nail tech I've gotten has done a great job and the pedicure was to die for! I will keep going back!
My coworkers referred me to this place and my daughter and I absolutely loved it! It's truly the best manicure experience I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and social, knowledgeable about the different manicure options and so, so talented. They also stayed late to finish our nails and didn't seem put out or anything. This will be our go to place from now on!
I went here right before closing and was blown away. Lany took care of me and was so professional. My nails looks PHENOMENAL and she was so kind and patient. I will definitely be a life long customer. I got coffin shape and my nails have never looked as good as they do now! I could not recommend this place enough. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails just the second day having them.
I got my nails done there, and have gotten acrylics consistently for 3 years. Within 3 days, two nails completely broke, breaking one of my real nails in half. and by day 5 every nail has lifted. They refused to give me a refund. DO NOT give this nail salon your business.
