Quick Facts About JADE DELIGHT

Jade Delight has several strengths as mentioned in the comments. Firstly, customers consistently praise the quality of the food. The Salt and Pepper pork chops are described as "insanely good" and comparable to a well-known Chinese restaurant in Newcastle. The Garlic Pak choi is also highly regarded and a favorite among customers. The King prawns with ginger and spring onion dish is praised for its generous portion size and tasty sauce. The Three meats with rice dish is also recommended, with customers stating that while it may not beat a particular restaurant in Manchester for Cantonese roast meats, it comes very close.
Another strength of Jade Delight is the variety of its menu. Customers appreciate that the restaurant offers a range of dishes to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. The set menu, in particular, is mentioned as a good value option, offering a soup, six starters, a main with rice, and more. The buffet service at the weekend is also praised for its quality and freshness, surpassing other buffet options in the area.
The reasonable prices at Jade Delight are another positive aspect mentioned by customers. Even with a slight increase in prices, customers still find the meals to be very reasonable. The affordability of the restaurant is emphasized, with one customer mentioning that their meal was just over £20 per person, and pints of Sun Lik were priced at £3.50, which is considered a bargain.
The staff at Jade Delight are consistently described as friendly and welcoming. This contributes to the overall positive dining experience, with customers feeling comfortable and well taken care of. The staff's willingness to accommodate special requests, such as removing an ingredient from a dish, is also mentioned as a positive aspect of the service.
However, there are also some weaknesses that can be identified from the comments. One customer mentions that the vegetarian options at Jade Delight are limited, which may be disappointing for those who do not eat meat. This can be seen as a weakness as it may limit the restaurant's appeal to certain customers.
Another weakness mentioned is the lack of filling up dishes during the buffet service. One customer expresses disappointment that some dishes were not being replenished promptly, possibly due to a shortage of staff. This can potentially lead to a negative experience for customers, as they may not be able to get the dishes they desire.
Additionally, one individual mentions that the restaurant had changed its format from an all-you-can-eat buffet to a table service restaurant. While this change may have been a positive for some customers, there may be others who preferred the previous buffet format. This change could have potentially affected the overall dining experience for certain individuals.
In conclusion, Jade Delight has many strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. Customers consistently commend the quality of the food, the variety of the menu, the reasonable prices, and the friendly staff. However, there are also some weaknesses to consider, such as limited vegetarian options and potential issues with the buffet service. Overall, it seems that Jade Delight offers a positive dining experience with its delicious food and good value for money.

Best TL Reviews

Never had a bad meal here! We ordered from the a la carte menu this time and got:
Salt and pepper pork chops - insanely good, reminded me of Chinatown express in Newcastle.
Garlic Pak choi, equally as good, we get this every time now.
King prawns with ginger and spring onion, with soft noodles, thought I'd try a new dish and it didn't disappoint, absolutely tons of big prawns and a really tasty sauce. The only thing I'd change would be the slices of ginger, a bit too thick to eat but that's personal preference.
Three meats with rice. My other half gets this every time now, a brilliant Cantonese dish of char siu, chicken and duck with a sweet soy dip and some really fresh broccoli. Nothing will beat happy seasons in Manchester for Cantonese roast meats but this comes really really close.
They also do a set menu in the week with a soup, six!! starters each and a main with rice etc, a bargain at £14odd but far too much for me, I'd end up taking a load home ????
The buffet they do at the weekend is brilliant too, knocks the socks off the other ones around these parts and everything is always so fresh and replaced quickly ????
The prices have gone up a little bit since the last time we went but where hasn't with the rising cost of produce and utilities? It's still very reasonable, tonight's meal was just over £20 each, and pints of Sun Lik at £3.50 is an absolute bargain, definitely recommend the place if you haven't been before.
Used to be an all you can eat buffet but is now a table service restaurant so we were a bit apprehensive when we found it had changed. However, the menu is quite varied and the prices are very reasonable so we gave it a go and we were so pleased that we did. The food was excellent, as well as the service. Can recommend the dumplings as starters and the Udon duck. Two of us ate a two course meal with drinks for less than £40 and still had a substantial doggy bag to take with us. Sorry forgot pictures, will add next time ???? ???? .
Staff were lovely and friendly, my daughter and I chose to have ramen with udon noodles, we chose to have tofu fish with it, informed after the other diners dishes came to the table it was tofu made from fish products, not a tofu substitute for fish ????‍♀️. All new to me. It was removed from our order and fresh ramen was made. The food was very nice, really fresh and tasty, kids meal was great value too. My only disappointment was the small amount of vegetarian options.
Very impressive meal this evening at this restaurant. Place was packed which is always a good sign with people even queuing outside in the street. It was worth the wait. Buffet service was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of starters, mains and desserts. Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
Been coming for years came last night for the buffet that I usually love how ever last night dishes were not being filled up like they usually are so unable to have some dishes you wanted. Last night I feel that they did not have enough staff available as they had a lot of phone orders and they appeared to get priority as the dishes never got filled. Who are the couple that seem to be running the restaurant and were have all the original staff gone. I will be back but hope there is some improvement with the buffet.
Went here for a date with my boyfriend and we were really impressed!!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! Im a vegetarian and they made sure there was plenty of vegetarian food for me at the buffet. The food is good value and very tasty. Will definitely be returning.
Great all you can eat for £15.
Very clean. Food plentiful and hot and service attentive.
Definitely recommend to friends.
Decided to try this place after reading the reviews as was after a down to earth chinese meal without the expensive price tag whilst away for a few days.
Whilst the decor is basic, don't let this put you off as the quality of the food served was fabulous. We decided against the set menu opting for the duck pancakes to start instead along with salt and pepper ribs. We all chose our dishes of salt and pepper chicken, crispy beef in chilli sauce and prawns with ginger and spring onions along with a portion of pak choi. With drinks came to just under £60 which I felt was exceptionally reasonable for the three of us. Will be returning if staying again in Blackpool.
Free street parking available for 1.5 hours until 6pm the no limit after this.
