The barber I saw calls himself, Bryan. He didn't properly blend my hair and it came out uneven. Cut too high on my ear. Spent most of his time yapping to the female barber. Wasted my time. I was very disappointed in this being my first time and last.
My husband took my kids to get a hair cut and they did such a terrible job. They did his edge up which is VERY noticeably uneven.
Secondly the edge up was NEVER ASKED FOR. They did it so far up. It’s embarrassing. Please don’t take your children to get their haircut in this location. Look elsewhere. Def learned my lesson- I have been going to Maywood Barber Lounge for years and tried this place because it was open late but NEVER EVER AGAIN!
I got a great haircut from a spanish speaking fellow on 01/03/2021. I can't remember his name, but he did a great job.
I grew up around this area and like to support local business, but I am not sure I am ever returning to this barber shop.
To Management:
Another barber by the name of "Sazo/Saizo" was being unprofessional and overall had a childish demeanor. He was instigating arguments with other barbers the entire time I was getting a haircut. His lack of respect for his coworkers was unbearable. He would taunt other employees and attempt to get a reaction from them by intentionally turning off the tv or asking them to "do something" inside the shop. He intentionally wanted people to get mad and then asked "why are you so mad" while laughing at them. He is the type of person to mask jokes and humor as utter disrespect.
I love my city of Lynwood and I dislike seeing businesses suffer at the hands of unprofessional, disrespectful employees.
I called the manager JJ and he set an appointment up for me at 2 pm. I get there at 1:50pm and he’s cutting 3 people in front of me and doesn’t acknowledge that I was there for an appointment. I wasn’t in a rush but was annoyed. This new barber came and JJ told him to cut my hair. He was cool but I made an appointment with JJ and to be honest I did not like my haircut but I felt like it wasn’t the new barbers fault it’s the way JJ manages his shop.
Enjoyed my visit to this barbershop a fella by the name Brian cut my hair one of the best fades I’ve gotten yet I recommended him to anyone new here he gave me his Instagram check him out @saso_chopx
Took my nephew's for back to school haircut met the owner JJ. Cool guy super nice with my 4 year old nephew. Definitely coming back.
