Quick Facts About Jumelle African Braiding

Jumelle African Braiding place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers, indicating both strengths and weaknesses of the business.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that they were able to get a walk-in appointment without having to wait for a long time. This suggests that the business is capable of accommodating last-minute requests and has a flexible scheduling system. Additionally, another customer expressed their satisfaction with the end result of their hair, indicating that the braiders at Jumelle African Braiding place possess good skills and are able to achieve the desired look. This reflects positively on the craftsmanship and expertise of the braiders in the salon. Furthermore, a long-time customer of 20 years stated that they had always been extremely satisfied with the customer service and their hair. This indicates that the salon has built a loyal customer base over the years, which could be attributed to the overall positive experience that customers have had at Jumelle African Braiding place.
Another strength mentioned by a customer is that the staff at the salon are friendly and great at what they do. This implies that the staff members possess good interpersonal skills, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers. Furthermore, another customer appreciated the fact that Anna, one of the braiders, always fits them in and does an awesome job regardless of the chosen style. This suggests that the salon values customer satisfaction and is willing to go the extra mile to accommodate their needs.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the main criticisms of the salon is regarding the professionalism and punctuality of one of the braiders, Awa. One customer mentioned that Awa was late for their appointment, and another stated that she only braided two rows before asking for payment in full. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer service, as customers should not be expected to pay before the service is fully completed. Furthermore, the same customer mentioned that Awa did a lazy job with the parting, resulting in uneven and poorly spaced braids. This reflects a lack of attention to detail and quality in the braiding technique used by Awa.
Additionally, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing at Jumelle African Braiding place. They felt that they were overcharged for a simple style that took a significant amount of time to complete. This suggests that there may be a disconnect between the pricing and the quality of service provided at the salon.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the lack of running water at the sink in the bathroom. This raises concerns regarding hygiene and cleanliness, as running water is essential for maintaining a sanitary environment in a hair salon.
In conclusion, Jumelle African Braiding place has strengths in terms of customer satisfaction, skilled braiders, and a loyal customer base. However, there are weaknesses in terms of professionalism, pricing, and hygiene. Addressing these weaknesses would be essential for Jumelle African Braiding place to improve and attract more satisfied customers.

Awa braided my hair and this was the result. She was late for my appointment. Braided two rows and asked for payment in full. I wouldn’t do that to my customers. She did a lazy job with the parting as shown in the photos. The foundation for box braids is the partings and she failed do them straight or evenly spaced. To finish she didn’t even braid the ends on my hair to the length I paid for and let nearly 8 inches of unbraided hair at the ends of my braids. I would not recommend any of the Braider’s in this shop because they don’t have running water at the sink in the bathroom. That says enough. They raked through every woman’s hair, aggressively combing and parting the hair. Go to sis. You’ll get a $150 braid style at best here for 220 and up. Just go to sis.
My hair is nice
I went in on a walk in and didn't have to wait that long it took 4 hours to do my hair I am satisfied with the results
I have been going here for at least 20 years. I have always been extremely satisfied with the customer service and my hair. Rokya is the BEST but I have had several other braiders in the shop and I’m always pleased with my hair. I highly recommend this shop ????
I enjoyed my first visit you all are great with your hands. See you again soon.
Friendly and great at what they do!!
Anna always fits me in and always does an awesome job. No matter what the style is she is always awesome. I would recommend her and any of the other braiders. I love this place!!!
While I was there getting me and my mother's hair done I witnessed two unsatisfied customers express their distain regarding service. I myself had a disagreement with the staff who insisted on taking full payment from my elderly mother without completing the job. In addition, I was charged $200 for a simple style that took 7 HOURS to complete. She braided my hair SO TIGHT that I suffered migraine for nearly three days. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I loved ???? the way my braids turned out and I most definitely be going back at least every every 2 months or so to get them redone. It was very easy to get an appointment and they have lots of technicians.
