Quick Facts About Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar
Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar has garnered both praise and criticism from its customers. By analyzing the comments provided, we can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
One recurring strength mentioned in the comments is the pleasant staff and quick service. Customers appreciated the friendly and efficient service they received, making their experience at Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar enjoyable. The staff's attentiveness and positive demeanor contributed to the overall positive atmosphere of the place.
The cafe's dog-friendly policy is highlighted as a unique positive aspect. Customers expressed their appreciation for being able to bring their dogs into the establishment and the option to buy treats that contribute to a guide dogs charity. This aspect enhances the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the cafe, separating it from other similar establishments.
Additionally, the view of the sea was deemed as a positive attribute by some customers. While the exact location may be on a busy junction, the fact that the customers could still enjoy a view of the sea added to the appeal and ambiance of the cafe.
The quality of the food and beverages received mixed reviews. Some customers praised the soup, bacon bap, coffee, tea, and fruit brownie, highlighting their satisfaction with the taste and presentation. However, others were disappointed with the offerings. One customer complained about the lack of cheese and garnish in the toasted cheese sandwiches, while another criticized the tasteless sausage in the sausage bap and the subpar lattes. The higher prices of some items were also mentioned but seemed more accepted when the quality matched the cost.
The aforementioned customer who had a negative experience due to the limited operating hours of the cafe raised an important weakness. Despite being advertised to close at 8 pm, they were informed of the impending closure at 6 pm, leaving a sense of disappointment and dissatisfaction. Consistency in adhering to stated hours of operation is crucial to maintain customer satisfaction and avoid negative reviews.
The appearance of the cafe received mixed reviews as well. While some customers described it as quirky and homely, others found it to be careworn. The lack of a consistent opinion regarding the atmosphere may indicate a need for some improvements in terms of aesthetics and maintaining a cohesive ambiance.
Lastly, one customer mentioned the option to order fish and chips from Bertha's, a neighboring establishment, and have it brought to Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar. This convenient arrangement provided an alternative dining option for customers while enjoying the cafe's environment.
In conclusion, Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar has several strengths, like the pleasant staff, quick service, dog-friendly policy, and a view of the sea. However, there are also weaknesses to address, such as inconsistent food quality, limited operating hours, and mixed reviews on the cafe's appearance. By focusing on these areas of improvement, Kerry's Cafe and Wine Bar can enhance its overall customer experience and solidify its position as a preferred cafe and wine bar in the area.

A little gem of cafe and bar. Very pleasant staff and quick service. Nice soup and bacon bap, coffee and a tea. Would visit again when in the area. Well behaved dogs welcome and a nice touch that you can buy treats and the money goes to the guide dogs charity.
The two of us had a latte and a hot chocolate, and we shared a fruit brownie together (which came with two forks for us without request). A little pricey, but quality was nice! And the atmosphere was nice too, quite homely with a good view of the sea.
Very quirky, happy and dog friendly coffee shop. You can buy fish and chips from a few doors down and then eat them at a table, (with your dog) if you buy a drink too. Great idea.
very disappointing. i rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but …. the positives were a nice setting with a bit of a sea view, friendly staff & a decent pot of earl grey tea. the downside was 2 very expensive utterly mediocre toasted cheese sandwiches at over £7 each (not enough cheese, which wasn’t even melted & no garnish) , a sausage bap with tasteless sausage & 2 insipid lattes . nearly £30 for what was basically an unsatisfying snack for 3.
Visiting with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. Served, then told within 15 minutes that they were about to close.... At 6pm despite being advertised as open until 8pm.
Garbage
Top marks for dog friendliness. Average marks for looking careworn. Decent service. You can get fish and chips two doors up at Bertha's and they will bring it to you at this cafe. Coffee was good. Outside tables always seem popular despite the location on a busy junction
Un café/bar frente al mar. Un lugar tranquilo donde tomar un té con pastas y charlar un rato. Se puede pedir para comer algo en el "fish and chips" que hay al lado y te lo traen.
Popped in just for a coffee, nice atmosphere , close to the sea front with a view across the street actually. Thanks ????
