Quick Facts About King Tut's Beauty Salon
King Tut's Beauty Salon has a mix of positive and negative comments, providing an opportunity to analyze its strengths and weaknesses.
One of the strengths of King Tut's Beauty Salon is its ability to cater to various hair types. One customer with 4c hair mentioned that the salon was gentle with their hair and provided a nice, smooth result. This indicates that the salon has experience and expertise in handling different hair textures. Additionally, another customer appreciated how their stylist, Onsy, ensured they were happy with the hair length before cutting it. This attention to detail and communication with customers shows a commitment to delivering desired results.
Convenience is also mentioned as a strength of King Tut's Beauty Salon. Multiple customers mentioned the ability to walk in without an appointment. This flexibility is appreciated by those who may not have the time or opportunity to schedule an appointment in advance. Additionally, the salon's reasonable prices, as mentioned by one customer, make it an accessible option for customers, regardless of their budget.
However, the comments also highlight a number of weaknesses. One recurring complaint is rough handling of customers' hair. One customer mentioned that the stylist they had did not handle their hair gently and acted roughly throughout the process, resulting in a subpar experience. Another comment mentions burning the scalp and pulling the hair while blow-drying, indicating a lack of attention to customer comfort and potential damage to the hair. These experiences highlight a lack of consistency in the quality of service provided, as mentioned by one customer who stated that perhaps someone else at the salon may do a better job.
Furthermore, some customers expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service at King Tut's Beauty Salon. One customer mentioned that a stylist complained about their hair texture in another language, which can be seen as unprofessional and disrespectful. Another customer mentioned an issue regarding being asked to comb their own hair, which they found perplexing since they were at the salon seeking professional services. These experiences contribute to a negative perception of the salon's customer service and communication skills.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer is the lack of long-lasting results. They stated that after getting their hair done, their curls fell and their hair became puffy within a few hours. When they approached the salon to address the issue, they were asked to pay an additional $20 to fix it. This indicates a lack of accountability and responsibility on the part of the salon to provide satisfactory results to their customers.
Moreover, one customer mentioned concerns about the overall health of their hair after visiting King Tut's Beauty Salon. They stated that excessive heat and rough handling led to damaged and ragged hair ends. This raises concerns about the salon's methods of hair care and whether the salon prioritizes the health and well-being of their customers' hair.
In conclusion, while King Tut's Beauty Salon has strengths such as the ability to handle different hair types and provide convenience and reasonable prices, it also has weaknesses in terms of rough handling of hair, poor customer service, and a lack of long-lasting results. These weaknesses need to be addressed in order for the salon to improve and provide a consistent and satisfactory experience to all customers.

I got my hair washed blow dryer and straighten it was nice smooth and they were gently with my 4c hair I recommend this salon and it only took 1-2 hour plus you don’t need to make an appointment just walk in and it cost 60 dollars.
I went here the day before Thanksgiving since I live out of town and couldn't get my hair done before arriving. The wait was long which was expected. The guy that's stationed right by the payment desk did my hair. He was rough grabbing my hair and it was subpar. Maybe someone else does a better job, but that experience doesn't make me want to return or recommend.
Just recently tried this salon and and I am very happy with their services. I would highly recommend them. Memo the owner as well as his staff provided an excellent experience that I will be sure to utilize in the future for my hair care needs.
I love the way Onsy does my hair and he makes sure you see exactly how much hair he will cut when you request a trim or haircut.
I will be coming here often. Only women work here, but they move a steady pace. They have reasonable prices $40.00 for a wash and set and $50.00 for natural hair. Best part it's right up the street from my house.
I’ve been to this salon twice. The first time the man who blow dries hair complained about my hair texture in his language to his co workers and was rough the entire time, burning my scalp and pulling my hair. The second time I went the shampooer told me I needed to comb my hair out before she shampooed me and caught an attitude when I didn’t respond. I have 4c hair so it’s more kinkier. My issue is I don’t go to the salon to do my own hair so the fact that they told me I NEEDED to comb my own hair out baffled me. The lady who blow dried my hair was rough and pulled my hair out as she blow dried it. When safwat finished my hair I told him about my issues with combing my own hair out and he said sometimes when we’re busy we ask people to comb their hair out. They weren’t busy I was the second person there at 7 in the morning. You don’t have a customer do your job and he just said sorry. He did not care. This salon makes money off of black women and they do not care about damaging your hair. My hair is ragged and rough at the ends due to the excessive heat they use. They’re good for convenience but not for the overall health of your hair. Terrible customer service and I won’t be returning.
I love this hair salon they always have me looking nice Customer service is good communication is good and prices are good they don’t rip you off and try to give you what you need I will recommend going there and I will be there again thank you
Got my hair done at 3:00 pm by 9:00 pm my hair was puffy and my curls fell. I went in the next day to show them my hair and they tell me they will fix it but it will cost $20 and the curls fell because my hair is soft. NEVER AGAIN... $50 wasted. I wish I can give them zero stars.
