Quick Facts About Kuch
Kuch Place, based on these comments, seems to have several strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, many customers mention that the food is delicious and the flavors are exceptional. There is a consensus that the restaurant offers authentic Persian/Middle Eastern cuisine, with a standout dish being the kebabs and koftehs. The starters, particularly the Naan-o-paneer, receive positive reviews, as well as the presentation of salads, cheese, and hummus. Customers highlight the quality and taste of the food, stating that it surpasses other Persian/Middle Eastern restaurants they have visited. The value for money is also frequently mentioned as a strength, with customers feeling that they are getting good food at a reasonable price. Additionally, the restaurant's decor and ambiance are praised, with comments describing it as lovely and great.
The restaurant's customer service also receives recognition in some comments. It is mentioned that the staff is friendly and the service is generally good. Some customers appreciate the efforts of the staff to accommodate customers and find seats even during busy periods.
However, there are also some weaknesses noted by customers. One common criticism is that the customer service is subpar or slow. Some comments express disappointment, feeling that they expected better service considering the price they paid for the food. In one instance, a taftoon (type of bread) was served cold, indicating that there may be occasional lapses in the kitchen or with the staff's attention to detail.
There are also a few specific criticisms regarding certain menu items. One customer mentions that the portion size of the lamb shoulder has shrunk, which could be seen as a drawback for those who enjoyed that particular dish. Another customer found the Khoresht Gahimeh, a braised lamb dish, to be a turnoff. These specific criticisms indicate that the restaurant's menu may not be consistently satisfying for all customers, highlighting the subjectivity of taste preferences.
In terms of atmosphere, there is limited information provided in the comments. While the decor is generally praised as great, there is little mention of the overall atmosphere or the experience of dining in the restaurant. One comment mentions that they cannot comment on the atmosphere as they visited shortly after the restaurant had opened on a Sunday lunch, indicating that the atmosphere may vary depending on the time and day of the visit.
In conclusion, Kuch Place appears to have several strengths, including delicious and authentic Persian/Middle Eastern cuisine, good value for money, and friendly staff. The weaknesses are mainly related to occasional lapses in customer service, slow service, and inconsistent quality of certain dishes. The limited information on atmosphere suggests that it may not be a standout aspect of the restaurant. Overall, the positive comments on the food and value for money outweigh the criticisms, making Kuch Place a recommended dining option for those seeking delicious Persian cuisine in Bristol.

Fantastic food, absolutely delicious. Customer service is a bit sub par, would have expected a bit more for the price of the food we paid. But either way, it was a nice experience.
The food was excellent. Delicious flavours and I'm told very authentic. Not to mention good options ????
We went not long after they opened on a Sunday lunch so can't really comment on the atmosphere, but the decor was great.
We would definitely go back.
Lovely Persian restaurant in Bristol, great food, value for money and good service. Worth a visit ♥️
The food at Kuch is some of the best we have ever eaten. It is delicious, the flavours are matched perfectly, and the taste surpasses any Persian/Middle Eastern restaurant we have visited. The service is excellent and the staff endeavour to seat customers even when the place is busy (which is always). It is obviously a favourite! I recommend you book in advance because this place is not one to be missed. Incredible food!
One of the best restaurants that I have tried in Bristol. Nice, tender succulent kebabs and Koftehs with one of the best presentations of salads, cheese and humus.
Staff is nice. Ambince is good.
Starters: Their Naan-o-paneer is a must in starters. Ball e Jujeh in starters is also very good.
Mains: Liked their jonobi Kofteh kebab and kebab bakhtiari. Khoresht Gahimeh i.e. braised lamb was a turn off for me.
Deserts: ordered baklava. It comes with a tea pot and 2 pieces of baklava. Its a bit different from the traditional baklava but I loved it and would prefer it over the traditional one.
The food is delicious and great value (although the portion size of the lamb shoulder has shrunk). Service was a little slow and one of our taftoons was cold but they sorted it out. Will keep returning as we love this place!
