Quick Facts About Amritsar sweets and catering
Amritsar Sweets and Catering Place, based on the comments provided, has both strengths and weaknesses. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, let's examine them in detail.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme in the comments is the quality and taste of the food. Multiple reviewers express their enjoyment of the food, with one person even stating that it is the best Indian food in Wolverhampton. The positive feedback highlights the deliciousness of the dishes, particularly the rasmalai and the chole kulche. Visitors seem to appreciate the flavors and are satisfied with the portion sizes and packaging as well.
Another strength mentioned in the comments is the staff. Many reviewers describe the staff as friendly and pleasant. One comment specifically mentions that the staff consists of young students from India, suggesting that they bring an authentic touch to the customer service experience. The welcoming attitude of the staff creates a positive impression on customers.
Additionally, cleanliness and hygiene are brought up positively in one of the comments. The reviewer mentions that the place and the food are both hygienic. This reassures potential customers that the Sweets and Catering Place maintains high standards of cleanliness.
On the other hand, there are also several weaknesses mentioned in the comments, such as the broken parathas, lack of flavor, and poor texture in the potato filling. The negative feedback suggests that the quality and consistency of the food can be inconsistent. This inconsistency is further supported by comments about hit-and-miss experiences and the poor taste of specific items like the bread pakoras. These comments highlight the need for improvement in the execution of certain dishes.
Furthermore, there are complaints about the seating area and the overall size of the establishment. One reviewer mentions that there are only three tables available, which could be inconvenient for customers looking to dine in. Another comment states that the place is more of a canteen than a restaurant. These criticisms indicate that Amritsar Sweets and Catering Place may not provide an optimal dining experience for those looking to dine in comfortably.
Another weakness mentioned in the comments is the delay in preparing orders. One person mentions that their order was not ready in the promised time, causing frustration and hunger, especially for the children in their family. This negative experience impacts the restaurant's reliability and punctuality, leading to disappointment and potential loss of customers.
Finally, a competing restaurant, Bharawan Da Dhabba in Smethwick, is recommended as a better alternative, indicating that there is strong competition and higher standards in terms of taste and overall experience. Amritsar Sweets and Catering Place should take this feedback into consideration and strive to improve their offerings.
In conclusion, while Amritsar Sweets and Catering Place has strengths such as delicious food, friendly staff, and high hygiene standards, they also have weaknesses, including inconsistency in food quality, limited seating area, delay in order preparation, and competition from other establishments. Addressing these weaknesses and building upon their strengths will be crucial for the success and reputation of Amritsar Sweets and Catering Place.

Disclaimer: I am not a hater, was so looking forward to some nice food. Keeping this review real! What a disappointment. Just got home and parathas were broken into pieces. No flavour, no texture to potatoes, hardly any filling. Yoghurt was in same bag as hot food and went luke warm.
So many better places in Wolves. Don't believe hype. Shops scrimping on flavours and think more about profits. DO BETTER!
Will not be returning
What a lovely food and that too at amazing price! Loved everything but their rasmalai is my fav!
I've visited this canteen several times it is NOT a restaurant there are 3 tables on every visit the tables have been disgusting food all over them you have to ask several times for them to be cleaned the food is hit & miss the floor is filthy today the milk cartons were left on the floor.I will not be returning again makes you wonder what the kitchen is like avoid go elsewhere plenty of asains food shops around there. Staff are always pleasant young students from India.
Was recommended this place by someone so I visited earlier in the morning today. I ordered few samosa and kulcha and few other sweets. The quality of the food was amazing and it tasted really good, its far much better than any other restaurants that I have been to. The place and food are both hygienic as well as the staff. They were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend everyone to visit here and try out the brilliant food and service they provide.
Best indian food in wolverhampton and staff is really good.
We ordered chole kulche as a group and again they didn’t let us down. Everyone enjoyed!
Very tasty food, good portions, nice and organised packaging too.
Placed an order over the phone which they said would be ready in 30. It took them an hour to prepare it. Made the whole family wait and kids were hungry. If you can’t make it on time why lie.
Small seating area for eat-in. Kulchas (aloo and mixed) just had thick coating of atta, and very salty. Bread pakoras looked bad and tasted worse! Thick besan over-fried coating with little filling. Never had pakora like this.. ever!
Would not recommend. If you want to know how it's meant to all taste, go to Bharawan Da Dhabba in Smethwick. Been a few times and never disappointed!
