Quick Facts About Le's Nail Salon

Le's Nail Salon is a popular nail salon that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers have had positive experiences and praised the salon for its friendly staff, clean environment, and excellent services, others have reported negative experiences, including damaged nails, painful treatments, incorrect color choices, and unresponsive customer service.
One of the strengths of Le's Nail Salon, as mentioned by multiple reviewers, is the friendliness of the staff. Customers appreciate the welcoming and kind demeanor of the employees, which contributes to a positive and relaxing experience. Furthermore, the salon is commended for its cleanliness, providing a hygienic environment for customers to enjoy their treatments.
Additionally, Le's Nail Salon offers a complimentary nail kit to customers, which is seen as a thoughtful gesture by many. This kit allows customers to bring their own tools for future visits, ensuring the use of clean and familiar equipment. This attention to customer satisfaction and convenience adds to the positive aspects of the salon.
Positive reviewers also highlight the skills of specific technicians at Le's Nail Salon. They mention talented individuals who excel in providing pedicures and manicures, contributing to the overall positive reputation of the salon. Customers appreciate the great job done by these technicians, which further enhances the salon's strengths.
On the other hand, the negative reviews shed light on several weaknesses of Le's Nail Salon. One of the most significant issues reported is the damage caused to customers' nails during treatments. One customer recounts an experience where the technician filed too deeply, resulting in thinner and sensitive nails. Another customer experienced pain and burn marks due to mishandling of electric files.
Additionally, incorrect color choices and unevenly done nails have been reported by dissatisfied customers. These mistakes can be detrimental to the customers' overall satisfaction and can affect their willingness to return to the salon. Some customers also expressed disappointment with the unresponsive customer service when attempting to address issues with the salon.
While the majority of reviews do not explicitly criticize the pricing at Le's Nail Salon, one customer mentioned being surprised by higher prices than initially expected. This inconsistency between advertised prices and actual costs may be seen as a weakness, as it can lead to customer dissatisfaction and potential loss of trust.
In conclusion, Le's Nail Salon has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer feedback. The salon is praised for its friendly staff, clean environment, and excellent services. However, negative reviews highlight issues such as damaged nails, painful treatments, incorrect color choices, unresponsive customer service, and potentially higher prices than expected. These weaknesses should be addressed by the salon management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Best TL Reviews

First time visiting this nail salon and left super impressed! I absolutely love the fact they give you a nail kit to bring back for future visits and how friendly the staff is. 10/10 will definitely visit again ????
I went to Le's Nail Salon to get my dip powder nails removed and left with extremely damaged nails. To note quickly, I chose them for a couple of reasons. One, I had many trusted Facebook friends like their services and gave good reviews. Secondly, they were the only place that could take a walk-in when I called.
When I sat down the man soaked my hands in acetone for a few minutes. Then took the e-file and started filing the color off. Back in the acetone. Filed one more time to get the excess. During the second time I noticed (after the fact) more "stuff" flying off my nails. Come to find out later that "stuff" was my actual nail, not the colored product! Once the man was finished slightly shaping/buffing my nails he had me wash my hands. The minute I rubbed my hands together I knew something was wrong. I know acetone dries your nails out and makes them brittle but my natural nails were ruined. They felt like sand paper. You could see the marks/scratches from the file on every nail. Even worse (as you can most notably see the darker areas in the photo) he filed way too deep on my ring and middle finger. Where the nail is now thinner is very tender and sensitive especially in hot or ice cold water. If he had gone any further I believe he might've drawn blood. In that moment there was nothing I could've physically done. So I paid the $13.91 and left extremely disappointed and frustrated beyond belief. Once I got home and collected my thoughts I messaged them on Facebook and sent them this photo letting them know of what happened. Of course there was nothing they could do but apologize and offer me a service free of charge to try and "fix" what they did wrong. Unfortunately the damage was already done. I declined their offer and purchased some nail strengthening polish/cream to help my nails start the healing process.
I'm not sharing this to bash on Le's Nail Salon. More so to share my experience so this doesn't happen to someone else in the future. I'm sure the rest of their services are great. I just wasn't so lucky.
First time I’ve been here and it was terrible! Worst pain I’ve ever been in! She burnt my fingers several times with the electric file, then proceeded to file on top and cause my finger to bleed and bruise. The polish is bumpy and nails are uneven. Would not recommend to anyone.
This was the best nail experience I’ve ever had. The workers were very welcoming and provided a very relaxing and clean environment.
I've gone here several times and have had great services before but this one has made me never want to go back. I got dip nails from Jimmy and they were completely wrong. I picked a color and told him the number as well as saying what color it was. After he was more than halfway through I thought the color was a little bright but decided to trust the process. One of my nails is really crooked and the color is all wrong. Instead of the light purple I wanted I got a somewhat bright pink. He also made my thumb bleed pretty badly and when I said something he just shrugged. When I got home I called to tell them what happened and as soon as I said I had a complaint there was silence on the other end. I asked if anyone was there several times with no answer. It seemed like they set the phone down and walked away. Safe to say I am not going back.
I absolutely LOVED this salon and the girl who did the designs on my nails was AMAZING and so sweet, only problem I had were the prices. Ended up a lot higher than I saw when looking it up…: but I’ll be back
A clean environment & great family run business. Andrew does the absolute best pedicures, you get the most relaxing experience. Kimmy is fabulous & so kind at doing manicures. You can go wrong with any of the other technicians as well.
Le’s is seriously the BEST salon in Ames! They’re so understanding and kind and do such a good job on their nails. 10/10 recommend!
