Quick Facts About Lily's Nails
Lily's Nails place has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, let's analyze the comments in more detail.
Starting with the strengths, there are several positive comments that highlight the skills and expertise of the nail technicians at Lily's Nails. One customer mentioned that they had a great experience getting cute and simple designs, as well as almond-shaped acrylics. This indicates that the salon is capable of delivering a variety of nail styles and designs. Another customer mentioned that Lily's Nails is one of the only places they have been to that can properly do their desired nail shape, particularly because they have small nails. This suggests that the salon's technicians are attentive to individual customers' needs and can cater to different nail shapes and sizes. The positive reviews also highlight the affordability of the services provided, as well as the friendly and professional customer service. The fact that customers are willing to travel a significant distance to go to Lily's Nails indicates that they have a loyal customer base.
However, the negative comments shed light on some weaknesses of Lily's Nails. One customer complained about a rude and unprofessional experience with Lily, the owner of the salon. They mentioned that Lily was in a bad mood, took a long time to complete the service, was sick and constantly coughing, and even used a used cotton ball during the manicure. This suggests a lack of hygiene and proper customer care. Another customer had a similar experience, mentioning that the technician was rough with their hands and seemed in a bad mood, resulting in a ruined experience. Additionally, one customer complained about the noise levels and the perceived rush to finish the service, which made them feel like an imposition. This indicates that the salon might not prioritize creating a relaxing and comfortable environment for their customers.
Overall, it seems that Lily's Nails has strengths in terms of their nail art skills, ability to cater to different nail shapes, affordability, and friendly customer service. However, they also have weaknesses in terms of their professionalism, hygiene practices, and creating a relaxing atmosphere. These negative aspects, such as rude behavior and lack of attention to hygiene, can greatly impact customers' experiences and deter them from returning to the salon.
To address these weaknesses, Lily's Nails should prioritize customer satisfaction and experience by ensuring that all technicians maintain professionalism, provide a clean and hygienic environment, and create a relaxing atmosphere for their clients. Proper training for staff in customer service and hygiene practices should be implemented to avoid any negative experiences. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the salon to invest in updated equipment to enhance the overall experience for customers.
In conclusion, Lily's Nails has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer comments. While they excel in nail art skills, affordability, and friendly customer service, they fall short in terms of professionalism, hygiene, and creating a relaxing environment. By addressing these weaknesses and focusing on improving the overall customer experience, Lily's Nails has the potential to become a highly recommended and sought-after nail salon.

I came here after a bad experience with the last place i went to (the nails completely popped off like glue on nails after less than 2 weeks) and I love my nails and will definitely be back. I like to get cute and simple designs and almond shaped acrylics. This is one of the only places I’ve been to that can properly do the nail shape. I have small nails for some reason but they worked perfectly with me. Please come here if you want acrylics and nail art done well.
Best place to get your nails done. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment. They are that good that their books are always filled, so walk ins can be hit or miss depending on the day and time. I drive 35 minutes to get here. It well worth the drive.
Visiting the area for my son's wedding ☺️ and they were able to get me in as a walk in. A quick French manicure for my own nails (no tips, and they were awesome at not taking off too much of my length). Very nice, gentle, great customer service and very clean. Would use again if in the area, definitely recommend.
They were so kind! So professional, squeezed me in, still had me in and out, my nails and toes looked amazing! I totally know why it sometimes is hard to get an appointment, trust me. It’s worth the wait.
I absolutely LOVE Vi!!! She always does exactly what I want and I never leave with anything other than beautiful acrylics. I also get nail designs done every time I go in. She has great prices and is so sweet to sit and chat with while getting your nails done. I’ve been in Saint Augustine for 2 years now and been to several places that just weren’t good enough for me to repeatedly spend money. Now I won’t go anywhere else for my nails!
I have been here many times over the past couple years, mainly for pedicures, sometimes manicure, and with friends. We had appts today for 2 pedis and a full set Mani. After today, I will never go back. Lily was so RUDE. Just a bad mood, rude all around. Why would you act like that to paying customers? She also took 1.5 hrs to do an acrylic nail set. We were late to our next appt. She was also sick, kept coughing, was very rough during the manicure. She also grabbed a used cotton ball that had polish on it and used it during manicure. Gross. Also, Lily abrasively asked if I had cash for tip. No. No, I don't. what's the problem putting on the card? There are lots of nail salons. No reason to go here. Never again
Ok, I went to this place for the first time and I totally regret it, I should’ve just gone to my regular nail tech. So I was down for a full set. It took a long time, longer than with my usual tech, almost two hours, and the tech kept on coughing, sneezing etc… I feel bad if someone’s sick, but then don’t come to work and make me sick. Also, she used a USED cotton ball on my nails to take off my nail polish. She was also super rough with my hands, like sometimes they need to move your fingers a specific way, but she was literally yanking my arm and twisting my wrist, it literally hurt and she seemed in a bad mood, ruined my experience. The cherry on top was that my full set was 80$ WITHOUT tip. That’s literally ridiculous, my regular place is 60$. Then, she has the audacity to ask “do u have cash for a tip?” Like….not anymore since you’re asking so rudely. Overall just horrific experience, will never return.
While not the worst pedicure I have had, certainty not the best. Place relatively clean if somewhat dated equipment and staff pleasant but very noisy and not relaxing. I almost felt like I was an imposition and they were in a hurry to get me out even tho’ I did have an appointment snd was on time. Will not go back and will not recommend.
