Quick Facts About Lovely Nails
Strengths:
1. Kind and helpful staff: One commenter had a positive experience with the staff going above and beyond to assist them when they felt faint during their appointment. This shows that the staff at Lovely Nails are attentive, caring, and willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
2. Memorable experience: Another customer mentioned getting engaged with the manicure they received at Lovely Nails, implying that the services provided were of high quality and helped create a wonderful memory. This suggests that Lovely Nails is capable of providing outstanding manicures that leave a lasting impression on customers.
3. Friendly and skilled nail technicians: A long-time customer commended the nail technicians, Kenny and Moon, for their friendliness and skilled work. They mentioned that their nails always look neat and pretty, and they receive compliments wherever they go. This demonstrates that Lovely Nails has talented and experienced technicians who consistently deliver satisfying results.
Weaknesses:
1. Inadequate moisturization: One comment mentioned that Lovely Nails did not apply any oil or cream to moisturize the customer's hands, leaving them feeling dry. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and customer comfort, as moisturizing the hands is a common practice in many nail salons.
2. Outdated and limited polish selection: A customer stated that Lovely Nails had a dated appearance and a poor polish selection, with half of their desired colors unavailable. This implies that the salon may not prioritize updating their inventory or keeping up with current trends, which can be a drawback for customers looking for a wide range of options.
3. Poor nail shaping and nail polish application: Multiple comments criticized the quality of the nail work done at Lovely Nails. One customer mentioned that the technician cut up the sides of their nails and cuticles, while another complained that their nails were not shaped correctly and the nail technician refused to fix them. Additionally, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the application of nail polish, with excessive polish applied, causing the nails to lose their desired shape. These comments indicate a lack of attention to detail and expertise in nail shaping and polish application, which can result in a subpar final result for customers.
4. Inconsistent pricing and unsatisfactory results: One customer expressed disappointment with the pricing at Lovely Nails, stating that they were charged $50 for a fill that was poorly done compared to another customer who only paid $30 for a similar service. This suggests that the pricing at Lovely Nails may be inconsistent or unfair. Additionally, the same customer mentioned that their nails were lumpy and did not look professionally done, which points to inconsistencies in the quality of services provided.
5. Poor pedicure experience: A customer had a negative experience with a quick and inadequate pedicure. They mentioned that their feet were not properly soaked, and the technician did not remove dry skin. Additionally, the customer felt that the technician did not understand their concerns. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and proper training in performing pedicures, which can result in unsatisfactory experiences for customers.
In conclusion, Lovely Nails receives praise for its kind and helpful staff, creating memorable experiences, and having friendly and skilled nail technicians. However, there are weaknesses in areas such as moisturization, polish selection, nail shaping, nail polish application, pricing consistency, and pedicure services. These weaknesses detract from the overall quality and satisfaction customers may experience at Lovely Nails.

Well, Im not honda san much since everything I read was true… I’m just going to let you guys judge. I paid $90 for a full set/gel polish and a Quick pedi, regular polish.
PD: in other places, they put some oil or crem in your hands to make moist and to make look good. Not here tho, my hands where dry af ????
I went here the other week to get a gel polish before my vacation, and the staff was so wonderful! I hadn’t eaten anything that day and ended up getting faint during my appointment, and everyone on the staff rushed to help me and went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I went on my vacation and ended up getting engaged with the manicure they gave me. :) Thank you to Lovely Nails for your kindness, and being a part of a wonderful memory!
The place was a little dated…horrible polish selection. Half of what I wanted they didn’t have. Then he proceeded to cut up the sides of my nails and cuticles. Then told me my nails are too short for the coffin shape and don’t look good. Like, isn’t that what you’re here to do? I finally pick out two colors and the man refused to polish my nails the color i wanted. I picked out a 3rd color and he began painting. I asked if he planned to get the old polish off first and he kept painting. So now I can see the parts of my old French poking through. Never again.
Only reason why I went to this place was because they were ready for me ready and open and my normal salon in Wooster unfortunately it was closed due to revamping. It has been a week now and I still have burn marks /scabs from where the lady has cut my skin trying to shape up my nails I requested to have a fill done and there so bad that my hair is getting caught in the nails cause they were not done correctly they are lumpy and just look like something someone starting out would have done… I even requested that I shave my own nails because I wanted coffin she cut my nails too short and the coffin look didn’t look right so then I said let me go ahead and have the filer and I will start filing my own nails correctly she took it from me and said “I will do it” when she put nail polish on she put too much nail polish on to where I made my nails look like they weren’t even coffin shaped anymore I had to file my own nails down they charged me $50 for a fill that was half ass’d when the lady next to me only got charged $30 for her and her grandson getting his nails done this place is a joke I would run for the hills don’t ever go to this place I was very disappointed. Until I looked at the reviews I should have known better and look at the reviews first!
I have been getting my nails done here for over 5 years. Kenny and Moon are always friendly and do a beautiful job on my nails. My nails are neat and pretty. I get compliments wherever I go. I highly recommend this nail salon.
About $37 before tip. So disappointed! This is the first manicure I've ever had in roughly 25 years of getting manicures that did NOT include some sort of hand massage. No lotion/oil was used whatsoever. Lasted about 2 days before the polish started to crackle and chip.
HORRIBLE!!!! First of all the man that did my nails was so rude and grumpy he should never be in customer service. Second of all I told him I like my Nails to look narrow. These look like fat squares. I kept asking him to fix them and he just kept telling me I was wrong. I came in there with eight of my acrylics off and the two thumbs still on. He refused to take those off for me. I had to pay $56 for these terrible nails
I just got the worst pedicure of my life. First it was done in 14 minutes time and she didn’t soak my feet more than 2 minutes. She didn’t remove dry skin either. When I tried to tell her she acted like she didn’t understand me. She 100% does not have a license to do feet or nails. And I am reporting this place as soon as I am done leaving this review. I hope my $42 was worth all the trouble I am going to bring this place. .
