I've been going to Mame's Hair Braiding for over 7 years now! Mame is so sweet and truly cares about her clients. No matter what style I am getting done, I always go in knowing it's going to come out beautifully, and I really appreciate that. Her work is so neat and consistent, and I always get compliments on my braids! Mame has a flexible schedule and is willing to work with the times that you are available. The salon itself is also very clean and spacious.

The owner is very sweet and her shop is very clean and welcoming. Got my hair braided in micro braids this past Sunday. Me and my family have been coming here for years . I highly recommend this shop. ????

My first experience at Mame’s was awesome. I walked in, showed Mame a photo of how I wanted my hair (1st photo) and she told me someone would be able to start on me in 45 minutes. Jossette was the young lady who braided my hair. I was really impressed. My hair looks just like the photo (2nd and 3rd photo) . Thank you Josette for taking good care of me. I am one satisfied customer.

I came down from NY and needed my hair done last minute (right before closing) and Mame had a chair for me. Miriam did my hair and gave me exactly what i was looking for. She did everything i wanted and i loved the results. 10/10 would recommend this salon and would get my hair done again here when I’m in town.

Mame and her staff are friendly and welcoming. They did not make me feel bad about my short coarse hair. My small box braids lasted about 2 months even with me washing it 5 times. There wasn't much soareness just the norm of getting fresh braids. Pretty clean establishment too.

It’s all my fault I got bad service. I should have never gone back. Very unprofessional. When calling she texted me back saying she would call me back. She never did. Three times. ????Once I had my coworker call from another number she was able to make my appointment for me. Not to mention I had been going to this place since 2018, I liked their work. However, got there at 8:50AM for my 9:00 am appointment. A stylist showed up about 9:20. She started about 9:50 am. She did not speak English well at all and during times had to call her husband to translate to me what I wanted. My price went up $50 from what I’ve paid in the past.???? I should have left then but again I trusted their work and thought well everything else has gone up ok. You know once you have your mind set on something with your hair you want it done. So we continued till 6 PM .???? Mind you I only got kinky twist that should have been a 5 hr service max. With that being said, I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone!

Miriam is the BEST! She installed my crochet braids very well and in just over 2 hours. She provided exactly what I asked for. She was very professional, polite and sweet as well as Mame, the owner. I’ve received several compliments within a few hours after the install and I gave a referral. I will definitely be back!
