Quick Facts About Mango Cafe
The Mango Cafe is a place that offers a mix of breakfast options and authentic Thai food. Based on the comments provided, it is possible to identify both the strengths and weaknesses of this establishment.
One of the strengths mentioned is the decent breakfast options offered at Mango Cafe. The Set 3 Breakfast, which includes eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, and toast, is highlighted as a good portion for the price. The bacon is cooked well and the beans are decent. This implies that the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes is satisfactory.
In terms of weaknesses, it is mentioned that the eggs in the breakfast were overcooked, resulting in a hard yolk. This indicates that the cooking technique and attention to detail could be improved. Additionally, it is noted that there was no option for brown bread, suggesting a lack of variety in terms of the bread selection. This could be seen as a limitation for some customers who may have specific dietary preferences.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the presence of old pricing menu pictures. This suggests a lack of attention to detail in terms of the overall ambiance and aesthetics of the cafe. Customers may find this unappealing and it could potentially impact their perception of the establishment. However, it is mentioned that the service is pleasant enough, indicating that the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Moving on to the strengths in terms of the Thai food offered, it is mentioned that the food is incredibly authentic and tastes amazing. The spring rolls, vegetable green curry, Thai fish cakes, and pad thai are specifically highlighted as delicious. This suggests that the flavors and overall quality of the Thai dishes are highly regarded by customers.
It is also mentioned that the portions of the Thai food are large, which is seen as a redeeming factor for the slightly higher prices. This implies that the value for money is considered to be good, despite the increased cost for dishes such as prawn and duck. The freshness of the food is also praised, indicating that the ingredients used are of good quality and cooked fresh.
The friendliness of the owner is mentioned as a positive aspect of the Mango Cafe. This suggests that the customers feel welcome and appreciated, which adds to their overall dining experience. It is also mentioned that the staff, particularly Lucky, is super friendly. This implies that the level of customer service is regarded as high.
Overall, the Mango Cafe has strengths in terms of decent breakfast options, authentic and delicious Thai food, large portions, friendliness of the staff, and good value for money. However, there are weaknesses in terms of overcooked eggs, limited bread options, the presence of old pricing menu pictures, and a potential odor issue when ordering certain dishes. By addressing these weaknesses and maintaining their strengths, the Mango Cafe can continue to provide a positive dining experience for customers.

Decent breakfast. Went for Set 3 Breakfast which was two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, beans and toast.
Eggs were over cooked as yoke was hard and fried eggs should have a slightly runny yoke, sausages were quite small and it would have been nice to have been given the option for brown bread. Beans were decent and bacon cooked well. All a good portion.
Overall, pleasant enough service but they need to remove the old pricing menu pictures that appear to have been out there by the owner. The above cost £8.50 and that was without a drink.
I recently visited the Mango Cafe and was very happy with my experience! The Thai food was incredibly authentic and tasted amazing! While the prices were a bit higher than I'm used to, the portions were large so it was definitely worth it. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend checking out the Mango Cafe if you're looking for great Thai food!
Been eating here since they opened. Staff is super friendly, especially Lucky ;) and the food is so fresh. The price per dish has just gone up to £8 for prawn and duck, but the rest is about £6.90, well worth it.
