Quick Facts About Rana's Dhaba
Rana's Dhaba Place is a restaurant that specializes in Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Based on the comments provided, we can analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment.
One of the strengths mentioned is the size of the restaurant, as it is described as huge. This allows for ample seating and a potentially comfortable dining experience for customers. Additionally, the abundance of lamb dishes is praised, indicating that Rana's Dhaba Place excels in this aspect and is able to cater to those who enjoy lamb. Furthermore, it is mentioned that the kebab is nice, suggesting that the restaurant is successful in providing a variety of dishes that are well-received by customers.
However, the negative aspect of the restaurant that stood out is the poor customer service. The comment highlights the fact that the staff is stingy with sauce, napkins, and boxes. This deficiency can negatively impact the dining experience and create dissatisfaction among customers. Customer service is an essential component of any successful restaurant, and Rana's Dhaba Place seems to fall short in this area.
Another drawback mentioned by a customer is the long wait time to receive orders. While the food quality may be good, the lengthy wait can be frustrating for customers, especially those looking for a quick meal. This issue could affect the restaurant's ability to attract and retain customers who are seeking a fast and efficient dining experience.
On the other hand, there are positive comments regarding the taste and variety of the food. One customer mentions that the tarka daal is amazingly rich, with bursts of fresh coriander and cumin seed, and the veg samosa has a wonderfully sweet and rich filling. This positive feedback on the taste and flavors of the food reflects well on Rana's Dhaba Place and suggests that they excel in the culinary aspect of their business.
In terms of pricing, the restaurant receives mixed feedback. While one comment mentions that the prices are reasonable for authentic Indian food and tea, another comment states that the prices are higher than expected for the amount of food received. This implies that the perception of the restaurant's pricing may vary among customers, and it is important for Rana's Dhaba Place to find a balance between offering authentic cuisine at a reasonable price to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The restaurant is also praised for its authenticity, specifically for offering a wide range of authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine. This can be a significant strength and a unique selling point for Rana's Dhaba Place, appealing to customers who are looking for an authentic dining experience.
The availability of vegetarian options is another strength highlighted by a customer. Offering a range of options for different dietary preferences is important in attracting a diverse customer base and catering to a wider audience.
However, it is worth noting that another customer had a negative experience with the restaurant's service and food quality. They mention that they had to wait for an excessively long time, and the food did not meet their expectations. This negative experience can be detrimental to the restaurant's reputation and could lead to a loss of potential customers.
In conclusion, Rana's Dhaba Place has strengths such as its large size, variety of lamb dishes, and positive feedback on the taste and authenticity of the food. However, the weaknesses include poor customer service, long wait times, and negative experiences with food quality. These weaknesses need to be addressed to improve the overall dining experience and attract and retain customers.

It’s so huge with plenty lamb. Brilliant taste if you like lamb. Kebab is nice too
0 for customer service and they’re extremely stingy about sauce, napkins and boxes.
But lucky for me I found a better, cheaper and more hygienic alternative- Jew an sweets. So now never going back here only to be treated like we’re forcing them to feed us for free.
Best lunch I’ve had in a long time! Amazingly rich tarka daal with fluffy rice and bursts of fresh coriander and cumin seed. Also had a veg samosa: wonderfully sweet and rich filling with that satisfying background richness you get from the deep-fry. Don’t go to Tesco Express: spend your lunch money here instead.
Small food stall. Indian Street food mainly. Reasonable price. Long wait to get the order. I had fish and chips. There was hardly any fish under the crispy batter! Overall, not a bad place for a quick snack. Halal sign was there at the stall.
A wide range of authentic indian food and tea (including masala chai) at reasonable prices
A small authentic indian/ Pakistani cuisine stall. Great prices, great taste and very friendly staff. Seating in front of Dhaba is good and open air with some shelter. Take out is available. Parking is hard to find like in any city centre but if you already parked and on foot exploring the area then it is a must place to eat snacks or full meal. Potions are generous. Vegetarian options are also available.
Very bad service!!!
We had our lunch here about a year ago and the lady who served us was so good but today we had a worse service ever we had anywhere. We waited for food for hour and half. Simple food like wrap and chips shouldn't take more than 20 30 mins but we waited for about 1 hour 30 mins. I had little children waiting in cold rain. After getting our last item they didn't even apologised. Worse service and foods quality has decreased since last time. Never coming back and never recommend. Doesn't even deserve 1 star.
Food was tasty and service was good????
Worth a try????
