Quick Facts About Ming Kee Chinese Take Away
Ming Kee Chinese Take Away appears to have several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme is the deliciousness of their food. Customers have praised the sweet and sour pork, egg fried rice, and spicy dishes as being really tasty and enjoyable. This suggests that Ming Kee has a strong menu and can deliver on flavor.
Another strength mentioned by one customer is the great selection of food. This suggests that Ming Kee offers a wide variety of options for customers to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. Additionally, the mention of the menu being fairly priced indicates that Ming Kee offers good value for money, which is an important aspect for many customers.
Customer service is also mentioned as a strength. One customer mentions always being greeted in a friendly manner, which suggests that the staff at Ming Kee are welcoming and provide good customer service. This is essential in creating a positive dining experience and fostering customer loyalty.
Furthermore, the longevity of the establishment is highlighted as a strength. Ming Kee has been in the area for decades, which indicates that they have a loyal customer base and have been able to maintain their business over time. This can be seen as a positive aspect since it suggests that their food and service have been consistently good enough to keep customers coming back.
However, there are also weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions that the noodles and curry were not enjoyable and even described them as horrible. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of certain dishes, and it could be a cause for concern as negative experiences can deter customers from returning.
Another weakness highlighted is a past negative experience with the customer service. A customer recounts an incident from 22 years ago where their order was wrong, and when they contacted the restaurant, they were met with rudeness and never had their order replaced. This negative interaction may have left a lasting impression on the customer, resulting in them never using Ming Kee again. Such incidents can significantly impact a restaurant's reputation and customer trust.
Overall, while Ming Kee Chinese Take Away has strengths such as delicious food, a great selection, and good customer service, there are also weaknesses in terms of inconsistencies in dish quality and a past negative customer service experience. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Delicious sweet and sour pork and egg fried rice. Really really tasty!
Good spicy food! Love it!
Decided to have a Chinese tonight and ordered from here. The noodles have changed and really weren’t nice and the curry was horrible.
Will not be ordering from here again. Waste of money
Great selection of food. Tasty and fairly priced. Our go to Chinese take away when I'm too lazy to cook, and I grew up in a cantonese restaurant....hopefully my parents don't see this review haha.
Never had a bad meal from here. All ways greeted in a friendly manner. Absolutely love the roast duck chow mein. Always nice and hot and excellent value for money.
Used Ming Kee years ago, they got the order wrong and delivered it.
I phoned them to say I have the wrong order and the women told me, I was a liar, and never did replace my order! That was in 2000, 22 years ago, never used them again.
I'm not giving them the 1 star, that's for me not using them.
How rude
Great Chinese food for when you want a treat. The Beef curry is amazing and has just the right amount of spicyness for me. Great portions and staff who cope well when it gets busy which is a sign of a great place.
This Chinese has been in the area for decades. It doesn't look much from outside but the food s pretty good. By far the best thing on the menu is their pancake rolls. They are the size of a small dog, full of filling (no dog I assure you) and have a spicy pepper taste. I usually order two, one to go with my meal and the other to have cold for breakfast, yum yum in my tum.
