ABSOLUTELY THE WORST
I've been coming here on and off for the passed year and I have never been so miss treated in my life. A week ago I called around 3PM for an appointment at 4.30PM it was explained that lady that did my nails on my last appointment had done a terrible job because 3 day after getting my acrylic fill in 3 nails were popping off. I spoke with manager and she had another women fix them free of charge. She fixed them very nice and was told to call and ask for her in the far concern next time I came. To my surprise I called requested her for 4.30 a little over a week ago. When I got there were only 2 nail technician there was the one lady that messed up my nails and the other the lady that had fixed them. As you can guess I asked for the one that fixed them. The lady that looked to be covering for the regular manager spoke to both of them the 3 women are unaware that speak and understand Spanish. They both said No they wouldn't do my nails. The lady looked like she was just a surprised as I was. She came back and said they were closed because both women had to leave and theyalready clients waiting. I couldn't believe it!!!! I told her I called a 3PM and spoke to her and it was now 5PM the store houses are till 7pm. I asked if she could call for someone else. She said she had no else.
There I was embarrassed and with nails due for a fill in and 2 more nail that were literally coming off my nail bed. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, THERE RUDE, NASTY AND ARROGANT. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEART ACHE AND SKIP ON THIS PLACE!
Went here for hair color service for my birthday. Showed a photo of what I wanted and they said yes they could do it without bleaching my hair or damaging my curls. Color was not good. Hardly visible. And I had to ask her to deep condition my hair and she had the nerve to say "only 5 minutes". I have natural hair that needs moisture and I just finished a color service. I hate to have to tell a "professional" what to do. Charged $100 then said I needed to pay another $1 for the 5 pins the used to wrap my hair. Seems ridiculous. Not heat damage but not worth it if you ask me.
Got my nails done by fernanda. She was patient with me trying to search for what i wanted. Made small talk and didn’t give me an attitude. The acrylic has bubbled up but the nails looked very good overall. My only complaint is that the two fingers with glittered gel polish weren’t cured and thus look/feel awful just days after doing them. The imperfection you see on the nail is my actual nail bed that was damaged by my previous nail tech
Absolutely terrible.
Wanted a gel fill. Asked for pink sparkle and black ombre. They had no colors I wanted and the products were cheap. She started with a red and gold ombre which clearly wasn't what I wanted but I figured maybe it would look good. She didn't even try to make it look good. When taking the previous color off she kept burning my fingers. She was watching a show on her phone as she did my nails. When I told her I didn't like the color she was sweet but then used some silver sparkle that also looked terrible. I gave up and just asked her to do it black.
She decided to do it black and put on crystals for cheap which I would have been fine with.
My nails have chipped, one has completely peeled off color, one of the crystals has fallen off. They weren't even put on carefully. The color is thick in some places and thin so you can see my nail in others. The acrylic has bubbles.
She had brought the price down from $45 to $40 for me since they didn't have the colors that I wanted but then after I complained wanted to bring it down to 30. I'm not a huge complainer, I don't like to make a big deal but I was embarrassed about the job done. The owner came and told me they would do it over but I would not leave without paying. I was so upset but paid and just vowed not to go back.
The owner told me the nails certainly wouldn't be embarrassing to leave with but the state of my nails after two weeks is exactly the reason I knew I would be unhappy. Never going back.
They are usually racist and rude. You get looked up and down before they decide who will do your hair or nails. But I had an emergency so I got my hair washed. The person who serviced me was very nice but this is for emergency only sort of place.
Morris hair and Nail Salon has been closed since the pandemic and will not be opening was informed to me by a stylist who used to work there. So don’t know why it has not been reported that is permanently closed. Too bad we lost a nice hair salon
They charge $23 for a pedicure that last a total on 20 min and 5 of those minutes you are soaking your feet. The receptionist has no idea what she’s doing. I asked her for the price of a mani and pedi and she said she don’t know. And didn’t even ask someone who does know. When I went to pay she kept my card and when I asked her for it she said she gave it to me. I checked my purse and everything and went back to her, said check again, and it was right there. The pedicure materials are not sanatized they just wash them. I was desperate. Never again. Oh and the lady did a horrible job cutting my toe nails. Cutting it to the stub
The prefect balance between luxury and natural. I had a Fantastic cut & blowdry experience. I was given the most beautiful, effortless hair cut. All the while, feeling super comfortable and happy with the process and the end result. The salon is chic, relaxed and not at all pretentious, with super friendly staff & the feel of having a "girls day at the spa"! By far, the best salon in the Bronx.
