Minor, bearable let-down like dated bathroom that only gave boiling hot-water, water wouldn't' go down, the flush in my friend's room wasn't working. Thankfully they sent someone to repair it the following day that makes our remaining 3 days simply bearable.
I will not recommend anyone to use this venue. Unless you bring your own food.
Fun place to go and discover your childhood or maybe to take the kids so they can see what life was like in the past. Check their web sight as they have special event days
Lovely muti-period re-enactment weekend at Chiltern Open Air Museum. Beautiful countryside area. Relaxed with interesting historic buildings. Well worth a visit
Looks interesting from the outside, currently during June 2021 there's a large filming project happening (?for a while?) so a part of the premises closed off to access. Advise ring ahead before going as access may not be possible.
My visit was to the Chilterns Open Air Museum. The Museum is well worth a visit. Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Very interesting and lots to do for kids. Some areas are not suitable for wheelchair access. Mobility equipment is available if booked in advance.
