Quick Facts About No 30

Strengths: 1. Excellent quality brunch: The cafe receives high praise for its brunch, with one customer commenting that the quality was excellent. This indicates that they prioritize serving delicious and flavorful dishes.
2. Vegan options: Despite not being a vegan, one customer decided to try the vegan breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the large plate of tasty food they received. This suggests that the cafe offers a diverse and appetizing selection of vegan options, catering to different dietary preferences.
3. Attention to detail: The comment about the avocado being cut to look like a rose shows that the cafe goes above and beyond customer expectations. This attention to detail and presentation can enhance the overall dining experience and make customers feel special.
4. Hot and good quality coffee: The accompanying flat white received positive feedback for being hot and made with good quality coffee. This indicates that the cafe prioritizes serving excellent coffee, which is crucial for many customers.
5. Attached to a nice pub: The fact that the cafe is attached to a nice pub can be considered a strength as it offers customers the option to enjoy a drink or continue their socializing in a different setting after their meal. This can also attract customers who may not be interested in dining at the cafe alone but would prefer a more lively environment.
6. Same food menu with the Waterman Pub: This comment suggests that the cafe serves the same food menu as the nearby Waterman Pub. This can be advantageous as customers who are looking for a wider variety of food choices can choose to dine at the cafe or the pub, depending on their preference.
Weaknesses: 1. Limited seating space: The comment about the cafe's small space suggests that finding a seat may be challenging. This can be a downside for customers who prefer a more spacious and comfortable dining environment or for groups of people who wish to dine together.
2. Rude service and limited options: One customer had a negative experience with the staff when they requested a skinny latte. The lady's abrupt response and the subsequent cold coffee may indicate a lack of friendly and efficient service. Additionally, not offering the requested skinny option directly conflicts with the customer's preferences. This can discourage future visits from that customer and potentially others who prioritize personalized service.
3. Negative customer service: According to one customer, they encountered a racist comment and bad attitude from a specific staff member. Although the manager was helpful in addressing the incident, the presence of such negative and unfriendly customer service can impact the overall perception of the cafe. This negative experience may deter potential customers from visiting the cafe.
4. Inconsistent breakfast service: The comment regarding not being able to order breakfast at 11:30 a.m. despite the website and menu indicating that breakfast is served until 12:00 p.m. highlights a discrepancy in the cafe's advertised operating hours. This lack of consistency can result in customer dissatisfaction and confusion.
5. Limited vegetable options for lunch: One customer expressed disappointment with the lack of vegetable options accompanying their lunch. Having only broccoli as a side vegetable may not meet the expectations of customers looking for a more well-rounded and balanced meal. This could be seen as a missed opportunity to provide a diverse and nutritious dining experience.
Overall, No 30 Place receives positive feedback for its excellent quality brunch, vegan options, attention to detail, and good quality coffee. However, certain weaknesses, such as limited seating space, rude or negative customer service experiences, inconsistencies in service, and insufficient vegetable options for lunch, should be addressed in order to improve the overall customer experience.

A cosy cafe attached to a very nice pub, the quality of brunch was excellent.
Not in general a vegan, I ordered the vegan breakfast as I was feeling adventurous. Pleasantly surprised as I received a large plate full of tasty food.
The avocado cut to look like a rose shows that they went above and beyond my expectations!
The side salad did include (what seemed to me to be) wild flowers which I was not used to, however not being a vegan connoisseur, I don't know - this may be normal.
The accompanying flat white was hot and good quality coffee.
Nice cafe and they are serving the same food menu with The Waterman Pub next door.
Very nice cafe. Good brunch and good coffee. Also has sandwiches for lunch. Very small space though so might not always find a seat.
I have just gone in for a take away coffee and asked for a skinny Late, to which the lady replied very abruptly we don’t do skinny.
I ended up with a cappuccino and 4 lovely croissants. I took these round the corner to have with my children.
Unfortunately the coffee was cold, I was really disappointed and was already round the corner before I realised.
The coffee shop was One of my favourite spots in Cambridge. Last time I have experienced a racist comment and bad attitude from the blond lady on cashier. Even though the manager was very helpful for the incident, the lady brings an overall negative and unfriendly customer service which is not attractive to anyone who wants to enjoy the lovely cafe.I do believe those incidents need to be marked and take relevant actions.I will not recommend this coffee shop to anyone anymore!
Nice athmosphere
Service staff is moody, except an amazing and very friendly Hungarian waitress
Both their website and menu says breakfast is served from 8am-12pm. We got there at 11.30am and were promptly told that we couldn't have breakfast because the kitchen needed time to 'break down' before lunch. At the same time we weren't able to order lunch, as we would have had to wait half an hour until 12.00pm. If you only allow customers to order breakfast until 11.30am, then you shouldn't advertise breakfast as being served until 12.00pm.
A very homely environment with good service and food. The mocha was mildly sweet, as it should be and the chicken Kiev was delicious. My only complaint is that there was just broccoli as a side vegetable for the latter. For lunch I would expect that there would be more vegetables.
