Quick Facts About Northlake Festival Shopping Center
The Northlake Festival Shopping Center has a number of strengths that make it an appealing destination for visitors. Firstly, the location of the shopping center is highlighted as a positive aspect. It is situated between Commerce and Athens, making it easily accessible for residents in both areas. Additionally, there is mention of a well-kept park in the vicinity where visitors can partake in outdoor activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. The presence of wildlife adds to the overall experience of the location.
In terms of dining options, the Seafare'r feast at Red Lobster is praised as being superb, and the ordering process for takeout is described as seamless. Jason's Deli is also mentioned as a go-to spot, particularly for individuals on a soft diet. The broccoli cheddar and potato soup are specifically highlighted as being delicious. These positive dining experiences are likely to attract food enthusiasts to the shopping center.
The availability of various stores and services within the shopping center is one of its main strengths. A Kroger supermarket, UPS store, Mexican restaurant, Goodwill, MOD Pizza, and School Box are just a few examples of the diverse range of stores housed within the facility. Additionally, there is mention of a movie theater at the back of the shopping center, providing entertainment options for visitors.
The historical significance of the Northlake Festival Shopping Center is also seen as a strength. Being an iconic DeKalb County strip mall that has been around for years, it holds a nostalgic factor for people who attended nearby schools as children. This sentiment adds to the overall appeal of visiting the shopping center and creates a sense of attachment for long-time residents of the area.
The presence of newer businesses alongside the established ones is another strength of the shopping center. Chipotle, Jason's Deli, and Honey Baked Ham are cited as examples of newer establishments that add freshness and variety to the overall shopping experience. This mix of old and new creates a one-stop shop where visitors can find a wide range of goods and services.
Despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses that can be highlighted based on the comments provided. One customer mentions that there are no pictures because the shopping center is gone. This suggests that there may have been a recent closure or significant changes to the shopping center that have affected its overall appeal and presence.
Another customer mentions that the cost for lunch at Red Lobster has increased to what used to be the cost for dinner. This implies that some visitors may find the prices at certain establishments within the shopping center to be on the higher side, potentially affecting overall satisfaction and affordability.
In conclusion, the Northlake Festival Shopping Center has several strengths that make it an attractive destination. Its location, range of stores and services, historical significance, and mix of old and new businesses contribute to its appeal. However, recent closures or changes to the shopping center, as well as potential higher prices at certain establishments, may be factors to consider when evaluating its overall strengths and weaknesses.

In between Commerce and Athens a well-kept park. Nice place to drop in a kayak or paddle board or go fishing. Sometimes you get to see the wildlife up close.
Their Seafare'r feast was superb. To go order was seamless
I come to this place periodically. This shopping center has been around the North Lake area for years. You can find pretty much everything here. There's a kroger, UPS store, Mexican restaurant, goodwill, mods pizza, school box and many other stores here in this facility. There's also movie theater in the back.
Jason's Deli was my go to for yesterday. I recently got braces and well, I'm on a soft diet. Sooooo, I got two bowls of the broccoli cheddar and a bowl of potato soup. It was the BEST!!
No pics, because well, it's gone ????
Iconic DeKalb County strip mall shopping center that's been around since forever. Some of the anchor businesses here (Kroger, Red Lobster, Michael's, Mellow Mushroom, Movie Tavern) have been around for decades. So there's a big nostalgia factor in visiting here, especially if you were a kid who attended one of the many schools nearby.
There's a good mix of newer businesses too, among them Chipotle, Jason's Deli, Honey Baked Ham, etc. This is a one-stop shop for all sorts of goodies.

Red Lobster was good. The waiter was wonderful, but the cost for lunch is now what dinner used to cost.
There are several great shops here and a few places to eat located nearby. It's definitely worth the time to stop by and have a look around.
Great place had family time there.
