Really lovely wee cafe with a vegan menu!! Food was yummy and they even boxed it up for me to take away when I couldn't manage it all. I had a flat white with soya milk and it came with a wee home made vegan biscuit too. All in all a lovely little place that was open on Easter Monday ☺️ A bit small on the inside if you're still feeling a bit overwhelmed by people after covid. And you can't see any of the cakes before ordering (which is quite unusual). Staff are friendly and will come if you speak up to get their attention when it's busy. On the pricy side for us, but maybe that's standard pricing around these parts ???? All in all, a nice visit with parking outside on street free for 1 hour.
Excellent coffee n walnut cake. I spilled the milk n the staff was very polite, n efficiently replaced the milk. Great presentation on the cake.
Had our dog so sat outside (dogs not allowed in the cafe). Great personal and prompt service. Good vegan choice (and other dietary requirements) which we had. Good price too.

Firstly what a lovely warm , friendly atmosphere with very polite , courteous staff.
I had full English and my son had a bacon , egg and sausage muffin.
I don’t like baked beans but was offered an extra lovely poached egg.
The whole meal was outstanding ! Clearly they use quality food and cooked it to perfection.
The sausages deserves a special mention ! Absolutely gorgeous.
The barista also made a lovely steaming hot chocolate.

Lovely place clean tidy staff little frosty we had full English breakfast
But what spoiled was eggs overcooked cheap tinned mushrooms cheap beans 12 pounds for that not what you’d expect but this is just my opinion
Had a lot nicer breakfast at the royal real mushrooms I know the difference between tinned and fresh mushrooms number 44 is no better quality than Tara’s just my opinion ????
What a brilliant little cafe. Great choice of delicious cakes and meals for all tastes. We can certainly recommend the cakes! Lovely friendly staff who were only too happy to help with dietary needs. We'll worth a visit if you are in kirkby Lonsdale.
Lovely experience everything was presented in a extra special way amazing care taken with every detail - fantastic selection of loose leaf speciality teas with warm jam and cream Scones to die for. Good choices on lunch menu I can definitely recommend.
