Quick Facts About Starbucks

Starbucks is a popular chain of coffee shops known for its wide range of coffee and tea beverages. While it has a strong reputation and a loyal customer base, there are also some weaknesses that can be pointed out based on the comments provided.
One of the strengths of Starbucks is the friendliness of its staff. Several comments mention the pleasant and personalized service they received, with one comment stating that the staff knew the customer by name and knew their order. This shows that Starbucks employees strive to create a welcoming atmosphere and build relationships with customers.
In terms of weaknesses, the quality and consistency of drinks seem to be an issue at this particular Starbucks location. One comment mentions receiving a Grande oat milk matcha latte that lacked density and was mostly froth. It was also not filled to the brim, which was disappointing for the high price of £3.95. Another comment mentions the inconsistency in serving pouring cream for Americanos, as they were told that it was no longer provided. These experiences indicate a lack of attention to detail and consistency in the preparation of beverages.
Supply chain issues and poor inventory management are also highlighted as weaknesses. One comment mentions that the store had run out of ceramic mugs despite there being only six customers present. This can be seen as a lack of foresight and planning on the part of the store management. Additionally, the store had also run out of sleeves for takeaway cups, leading to the inconvenience of having to place the cup in another cup to provide insulation. These inventory issues suggest that the store may not be efficiently managing its stock levels, which can negatively impact the customer experience.
Another weakness pointed out in the comments is the overpricing and poor selection of food items. One comment mentions that a small slice of cake was priced at around £3, which is considered expensive for the size and quality of the product. The same comment also compares Starbucks to Costa coffee, highlighting that Costa offers free cold milk for children, whereas Starbucks charges £2 for each small cup of cold milk. This indicates that Starbucks may not be competitive in terms of pricing and value for money when it comes to food and beverage options.
Additionally, there are concerns about poor customer service experiences at this Starbucks location. One comment mentions encountering rude staff and complaining to head office but receiving no response. This lack of response from head office suggests a disconnect between the management and customer feedback, which can lead to a decline in customer satisfaction and loyalty. Another comment describes an incident where an elderly couple and their disabled family member were not allowed to bring their therapy dog into the store, leading to a negative perception of the store's management and customer service.
Lastly, there are inconsistencies in the accuracy of orders, particularly when using the drive-thru. One comment mentions that out of ten visits, the wrong drink was given nine times, with the customer often receiving a latte instead of a mocha despite their clear order. This highlights a problem with the training or attentiveness of staff when it comes to correctly preparing and serving the requested drinks.
In conclusion, while Starbucks has strengths such as friendly staff and a wide variety of beverage options, there are weaknesses that can be identified based on the comments provided. These weaknesses include inconsistencies in drink quality, poor inventory management, overpriced and limited food selection, poor customer service experiences, and inaccuracies in order fulfillment. These issues, if not addressed, can negatively impact the overall customer experience and satisfaction with Starbucks as a brand.

Best TL Reviews

Ordered a Grande oat milk matcha latte and the cup had no density when I received it. wasn't even full and was all froth. Definitely not worth the £3.95 for it. Not going back here and wouldn't recommend
Had somehow ran out of ceramic mugs even though there were only 6 people in, so could only offer takeaway cups. Not quite sure how that can happen...
Decided to take away but had also run out of sleeves so had to put it in another cup so it could be held. Staff were friendly and offering suggestions but this isn't the first time there have been issues when we've visited this store so maybe wider supply chain issues.
Food selection is poor and overpriced (~£3 for a small slice of cake that could be straight out of a Costco!) but think this is more reflective of the wider Starbucks approach. Paid £12 for 2 hot drinks and 2 small cups of cold milk for young children. Could learn from Costa coffee where cold milk is free rather than being charged £2 each which again - is extremely overpriced.
My go to local now, pleasant staff who now know me by name and know my order too.
Always served with a smile
Went in order my drink attitude of staff extremely poor and complained to head office no response absolutely disgraceful and the price you pay for the drinks I expect it to be right, I wont be going back again not the first time I have had poor service there but it will be the last.
Unfortunately, I have to update my review. What I witnessed today, lunchtime 9th Jan 2023 was appalling customer service. A frail elderly couple (both with mobility frames) & their disabled daughter or granddaughter were told they could not bring their therapy dog into the building (after already sitting down)by the I assume "manager". If that wasn't bad enough a customer then stated it was disgusting behaviour l to another member of staff only to be sworn at! Serious management and customer service issues.
Americano and pouring cream is my regular drink. I'm now told that they don't give out pouring cream for Americanos... ????
What can you say it's a Starbucks, but I'm not from the area & this one is new & fresh plus they had oat milk. Other Starbucks I visit hardly ever have oat milk!
Mostly use the drive thru - 9 times out of 10 they get my drink wrong, give me a latte instead of a mocha. Complete different drinks. Even though it clearly says M on the cup.
