Nich mein ding fish and chips wer es mag ok ich nicht sorry
On a cold, bleak Sunday afternoon overlooking the North Bay of Scarborough I ordered take away fish and chips.
They were as good as any I've had around the town, with a decent, but not too large, portion.
It was easy to park, and being Marine drive on a cold Sunday we watched the rain roll down the car windows whilst we tucked into our grub. There are clean, well kept toilets for customers outside the cafe, which was take away orders only this afternoon.
I'll be back - once spring arrives.
Great view out over the sea. Motorcycle parking free and flat. Lovely location.
Was working at Scarborough for the week.lovely stop at oasis for coffee bacon sarnie couple kitkats and orange juice for the bairn .
Excellent stop for a fish butty and a cup of steaming tea while out on a long coastal motorcycle ride . Very friendly staff and a fabulous view
Lovely kind staff who helped me and my husband after he fell and cut his head open. A couple of hours in a&e and eight stitches later he felt much better. We'll come back to the cafe next time we visit. Thank you so much for your help and kindness.
Awful. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but felt compelled after visiting the Oasis Cafe. The staff weren’t exactly friendly, the prices were so and so, or so I thought until sampling their fish and chips…the fish was tiny, thin and tasted of nothing, chips were undercooked and the batter on my son’s sausage was completely undercooked. We left our food and went else where. Honestly not what I expected from a sea front food place. In addition, the toilets were filthy and in disrepair, the emergency pull cord for disabled visitors had snapped too. As I said, awful.
Reasonable delivery of food at a good standard. Prices were a tad steep, however it is the only cafe for a good 10 min walk. Overall I'm happy.
