Quick Facts About Oasis Fish Bar
The Oasis Fish Bar has received a range of positive and negative comments, giving an insight into its strengths and weaknesses. Here is an analysis of the comments to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the place.
Starting with the strengths, a recurring theme among the comments is the friendly staff. Multiple customers appreciated the friendly and helpful service provided by the staff and the owner. Personal interactions can greatly enhance the overall dining experience and leave a positive impression on customers. This strength can contribute to customer loyalty and word-of-mouth recommendations.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the reasonable price of the food. Customers mentioned that the food is inexpensive, which makes it an attractive option for those looking for a budget-friendly meal. Offering affordable options can attract a larger number of customers, particularly those who are price-sensitive.
Comments about the food quality were a mix of positive and negative feedback. Some customers praised the quality of the fish and chips, mentioning that they were cooked fresh and were delicious. Generous portions were also mentioned as a positive aspect of the food.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one common criticism was the inconsistency in food quality. While some customers enjoyed their meals, others complained about the taste and temperature of the food. Rubber-like chicken, greasy and soggy chips, and poor-quality doner meat were mentioned in the negative comments. Inconsistency in food quality can lead to dissatisfaction among customers and result in decreased customer loyalty.
Limited operating hours were also mentioned as a weakness. One comment mentioned that the place is not always open, which can be inconvenient for customers who may want to visit outside of regular business hours. This limitation can potentially lead to missed opportunities for attracting customers and generating revenue.
Another weakness pointed out in the comments was the parking situation. Customers mentioned that parking is a pain as cars don't park in one bay and there are limited spaces available. Difficulty in finding parking spaces can deter potential customers from visiting the place, especially if there are other nearby options with better parking facilities.
In summary, the strengths of the Oasis Fish Bar include friendly staff, reasonable prices, and positive feedback on the food quality from some customers. However, weaknesses include inconsistency in food quality, limited operating hours, and parking difficulties. These aspects should be considered by the management of the Oasis Fish Bar to further enhance its strengths and address areas that need improvement.

Günstig essen mit freundlichem Personal...nicht immer geöffnet
Staff were friendly car park right next to it, with level access to the rear. Ordered a large chicken kebab meat and chips with a bit of salad. The chicken tasted rubbery the salad had turned and the chips were greasy. Wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning
1st visit here 7/2/23. Very impressed. 4 fish and chips sausage in batter and halloumi frys. Food hot and good portions. Fish cooked fresh. Friendly staff. And owner? Good varied menu.
Highly recommended 5* will definitely visit again.
I went in this evening the ladie was extremely helpful and nice but as for the standard/temperature of the food isn't good.
My mum and I used to always have our dinner on the odd evening's.
This evening I had donor meat and chips husband had jumbo sausage and chips with a curry sauce.
We only live just around the corner from the chippy and we was in the car.
The meals were bearly worm, the chips were greasy soggy, the donor meat was like eating cardboard even the cat didn't want it.
Even sader the owner was working, it seems like his heart isn't in it anymore.
If it wasn't for the ladie who served me it would of been a 0 star.
Two occasions now we have had either poor service or bad food, I wouldn't believe all the reviews, first occasion we order dona kebas, got them home and they was hard ans clearly been there for a while, meat was unedible.
Second occasion way before closing on a Saturday night, there a server that doesn't speak English using a translator and there out of nearly everything, not even a sausage... safe to say I'd travel further next time.
In response to the owners comment below, I did ans was to occasions, but as mentioned there are other chippys around the corner just wanted to leave my honest review.
Lovely food and reasonable price.
Parking is a pain though as cars don't park in 1 bay and there are not many spaces to use.
