I came in to the salon for a haircut and color. I showed the stylist a reference picture for my haircut four different times. She was not paying attention or simply did not bother to remember. After they had colored my hair, it was like they forgot that I asked for a haircut. Then, the stylist tried to convince me to not get a haircut. I could see that they were busy, however we already agreed on what I was getting. She cut my hair as fast as she could. I asked for face framing layers and bangs. She tried to convince me to not get bangs, so I didn’t. I didn’t trust her to do my bangs, I went home and did it myself.

I went to this place multiple times and not going to lie they cut my hair how I want it however I had them dye it once and it came out terrible. I wanted platinum blonde but it was yellow. I did complain politely but didn’t make a whole big deal and accepted the results. The biggest issue I have here is that I feel unwelcomed and as if the staff is talking negatively about me in Spanish. There was this time where it sealed the deal that I’ll never come back which was during Winter my skin gets real dry and I have some dandruff. When the woman, a short blonde (I think shes the owner), was brushing my hair she lifted the brush and showed the other girl who was washing another customer’s hair, they both laughed and spoke in Spanish about it. I knew that I wasn’t overthinking it and that they were in fact talking about me. I felt embarrassed and truly upset. I’m done giving this place my money and done with being barked at… I haven’t cut my hair for over 2 years now because I’m scared of other places messing it up. My parents have been taking us there for 6 years when Pedro worked there and they chased him out. He was the nicest person there and always made me feel welcomed, joked with me and my siblings, had conversations with us, and knew just how to cut my hair. After he left it’s been rudeness after rudeness. Disgraceful!
Found my new spot, they're amazing, honest and don't rush thru. Thank you so much, I'm absolutely loving my hair and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it!???? Will always recommend.
Made an appointment, I get there and she tells me they don’t do walk ins. I tell her I’m not a walk in and give her my name. Proceed to inform her that I have a 1pm appointment scheduled. Very rudely she goes “I get that but we don’t do in and outs so even with an appointment I won’t be able to take you on your scheduled time because I have all these girls in front of you” WHATS THE POINT OF SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT???? I wish she would’ve told me that over the phone before I drove an hour to see her. HORRIBLE customer service
I would not recommend this salon. The owner says she has 25 years experience as hair colorist and stained my scalp and edges. It looks like I spray painted my hair for Halloween. Hair Coloring 101- don't deposit color directly on scalp. Not only am I embarrassed by hair color/stains. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would give 0 stars for the service and expertise. 3.5 Stars for the salon being well kept. Which originally attracted me to the salon. In the past I never experience this with other hair stylist at Ooh La La. If the owner retouches her skills in doing hair/coloring + polish her customer service skills then I would recommend.
The person was very rough with my hair, she burned the side of my face where my hairline was, she wasn’t attentive or friendly towards me. I used to come here in the past but this time was very unpleasant, my hair used to last at least a week or two. My hair didn’t even last a day. She didn’t even trim my ends and before I was even out her chair she was greeting a customer and rushing my process. I used to love coming here but now I won’t go back. It’s unfortunate, this is the only place ive gotten blowouts at and now I never want one ever again after this terrible experience.
