Both Mrs. Tammy (P-Nut) & Ms. Kathy do great with my son. They have been cutting his hair a few times a year since he was one. They work hard to make sure he is comfortable and are very patient with wiggly toddlers. Mrs. Tammy is like the kid whisperer when giving them their cuts! My son once slept in my lap while she was trimming and calmly speaking to him. Now every time I mention the work haircut he gets excited and says, “See Mrs. P-Nut? She cut my hair? I wanna go!”

We don't take my son any place else in this entire area to get his hair cut. The amazing German lady is who always does his hair but they are all very nice in there. Great place. They only do cash or cash app and have an atm in the shop just FYI.
We just recently moved to the area. I was looking for a place to get my 2yr old a haircut. I Google searched “kids haircut places near me”. This place popped up but I quickly noticed it wasn’t a kids salon it was more of a Barber ???? shop. After further research I came to find that there weren’t any child’s salons around. So I called P-nuts. And that’s my reason for this review. If other Moms are looking for the same, go here. They may not have the cute themed chairs or fun painted walls geared towards children but they have Victoria. From the moment I called to make an appointment Victoria was kind and sweet. I could tell she’d do great with my son. Boy did she exceed my expectations! There were lollipops as soon as we walked in- these are a key element in keeping my son still/content during his haircut. She spoke TO him, used his name, explained things to him, allowed him to turn on the trimmers, put cartoons on for him, brought toys over to him, and did a quick but EXCELLENT hair cut on him. Victoria is our girl now. It feels so relieving to know I don’t need to find another hairdresser. PS- she also has 4 kids herself. So she’s completely understanding of children and their mood swings. I just loved her. Can’t say enough positive things about this barber shop. Oh and the pricing is amazing! $12 to cut my toddlers hair.
Victoria was great with my 6 year old son. She then followed up her performance by listening carefully to what I was looking for and delivering with her own flavor and expertise. I really enjoyed the final product and more importantly so did my wife! Happy wife , happy barber , right?
Had my son’s first hair cut here. They did an amazing job. Hair cut looks great! They were extremely accommodating with my little one. Saved his first hairs cut in an envelope with a nice little certificate as well, very thoughtful. Highly recommend!
Victoria is the greatest!!! She's treats you like a friend and not just a client. She's great with kids too. I don't have kids of my own but I've seen how she entertains kids who are there with their parents, and wow is she amazing! If you're looking for the perfect barber in fort walton, go here! You won't regret it :)

We had a mishap over memorial day weekend where my 4 year old gave my 3 year old son a haircut while I wasn't looking and hacked off half of his bangs. It was our first visit to P-Nut's and Victoria was his stylist. My son is very shy and wary around new situations and this was his first real haircut by a stranger. Victoria did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier. She was very patient with him and spent a good 45 minutes on his hair, since it was longish to begin with and had to be massively transformed to blend with his misshapen bangs. He looks like a whole new kid, transformed. She did a wonderful job and I can't recommend her and P-Nut's barber shop enough.
